β β β β β If there is anything I will cherish in my fitness journey this year is my acquaintance with Shawn. I was looking for a coach to train me on my oly lifting and I am so glad to have met the perfect coach for it. What I like the most about his training is the constant patience with me eventhough there is repeated mistakes made by me during training and he gives his best to articulate in a way that I can grasp the concept and training methods. Together with his patience,his persistent attention to details and emphasis on the form and technique pushes me to do better as he is not easily pleased by lesser than perfect and I have seen amazing results in my performances. Training sessions are always fun filled learning sessions and definitely worth it! Looking forward to more progress under your guidance Shawn! Thank you so much !

β β β β β I've only been working out with Shawn for two months, but I feel like I've made faster progress with him than I had made before in the past. His program is structured in a way that feels cohesive and well thought-out, which is a big part of me being able to keep at it consistently.
Shawn is also always patiently correcting my technique mistakes (even if for the fifth time!) and providing the rationale behind the movements, so that I'm learning a lot about my body along the way. Really glad I've started the program with him!

β β β β β I've been training with Shawn for 3 months now and I've seen significant improvement in my body strength and technique. Shawn is an excellent trainer, extremely knowledgeable, passionate, communicates and teaches well, he also genuinely has a heart to help people achieve their goals. Im confident Im on track by training with Shawn. I never feel like I want to miss a training session as well because he always encourages me and ensure the exercises are customised for me according to my needs, goals and level. He will also guide you on your nutrition and eating. During the FMCO & EMCO, due to gym closure, Shawn was very versatile and quickly switched to train me remotely online. With the limited equipment I had at home, I was able to weight train 3x a week with his guidance. He continues to train me even during the lockdown and Im very pleased with that. If you're looking for a trainer long term - look shawn up!

β β β β β He's very in tune with your fitness goals and he breaks down fitness that is really digestible. He also ensures that it aligns with what you want to train and focus on. Had been able to push better in workouts especially when going for more challenging weights and some calisthenics (Like handstands which has been a challenge for me till this year I was able to do it confidently) due to his guidance and encouragement. Plus, he's fun to talk to at the gym making the whole experience enjoyable.

β β β β β I've been training under Shawn for 2 years now. Extremely happy with all the progress he has helped me make in this period. Attentive and sharp coach who really gets to know his clients and their goals, and strives to help us improve not only in the gym but in all other areas of lifestyle such as nutrition, sleep, and mindset. Always empathetic towards his clients and does his best to keep everyone injury free.
Very pleased with his coaching methods. Answers all questions without judgement and always has a good reason for any exercise he programs.
I highly recommend Shawn as a long term coach for both general fitness and olympic weightlifting. He consistently gives his 110% effort no matter what.

β β β β β Shawn was recommended by a friend, and I started training with Shawn via the Built by Habits program for more than two months now. What I really like about the program is that it is 1) structured and focuses on a full body workout; 2) the flexibility of class timing and 3) it is affordable.
Shawn is attentive and gives constructive feedback for me to improve. I have learned more about engaging different muscle groups, with the correct technique for strength training.
I would highly recommend Shawn and the Built by Habits Fitness Program!

β β β β β What I really like about built by habits: the coach, the very early class , structured session and affordable fees.
Coach Shawn is very welcoming, observant, patient, professional and encouraging . He makes sure that you are doing the techniques right and constantly keeping an eye on you even he has multiple students at the same time.
He encourages me to take up the challenge with more weights , which I have never think that I would be able to lift . Well, what a surprise! I actually did it! I can see progression in myself .
I would definitely recommend build by habits to my friends .
