★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Getting there is not difficult as we drove from Kuantan and to Sg Lembing with the aid of a GPS. From Kuantan, the journey takes about 45 minutes.
The hike itself is not too difficult, for anyone who is reasonably fit. There are many steps involved - probably about a thousand in total, but it's not too difficult.
Scaling the peak will take you around 30-35 minutes. For beginner maybe 1 hour plus. You will be rewarded with a beautiful sunrise and a beautiful view of the town.
Advisable to go as early as 5.30am in order to see sun rise. Steps not too steep but about 800 of them. Do not eat too full as you will vomit.
At the top, a low level early morning cloud layer immediately made the views special, and then, as the sun came up, it became even more beautiful. Probably the best nature experience so far I have had with my beloved wife. It was magical for us. hope some of the photos will illustrate this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scenic. Breathtaking sunrise view. At nearly 1/5 of the hike, started gasping for fresh air already. There are several spots/platforms along the trail, available for taking pics or even for Muslims to perform Subuh prayer. An option apart from a surau and a mosque before reaching the trailhead.
Great motivation & support exchange between hikers wether who are climbing up or coming down.

Single trek stairs all the way up.
The view is well worth the hike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ About 800+ steps up to the top. Took about 30 mins of non stop walking. Seats available along the route for rest. Start your hike around 6am if you wanna catch the sun rise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends and i hiked to see the sunset and we were rushing as it was 30 minutes before it sets ? it was all stairs and we didn't have time to catch our breath so it was hard. The view is worth it and not many hikers are here, you may wear sandals as well. Recommended to bring torch light as there is no light source at all. Beginner friendly.
