β β β β β It was a great experience working with Meichi even though everything was done through Whatsapp due to the MCO. I ordered a custom-cheongsam for my tea ceremony and we were able to come up with a gorgeous dress. I was going for a casual-elegant vibe and asked for a jacquard fabric and I do not regret it! The dress does not crease or wrinkle even when packed in an overstuffed suitcase, further it is super elegant and definitely can be repurposed for other occasions. I also ordered an ivory-gold tweed capelet to go with the dress! It doesn't really go with the cheongsam (in my picky opinion) but it is gorgeous on its own. I would probably wear it with my wedding dress!
Also, Meichi was also to accommodate my deadline and delivered my dress early to me! The only thing that could be better about my experience but was definitely out of our control was that it would have been nice to do an in-person fitting because I'm horrible at measurements and my body-shape isn't standard but it is what it is. The dress fit well in 80% of places, which is pretty awesome considering the factors I mentioned. All in all, it was a great experience ordering a custom dress online. Would recommend her 100%.

β β β β β My experience with Meichi as my wedding dress designer and creator was one of the best decisions I have made. As I was planning my wedding amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, Meichi was so kind, reassuring and patient despite all the changes and time rearrangement that had to be made. I wanted a 3 in 1 dress and shared my ideas on what kind of designs I was looking it. With that, she designed and created my dream dress. Her recommendations on what materials she would use was spot on and I couldnβt be happier with it. When the dress was ready, it was not only beautiful but so comfortable to be in. As I had to bring my dress overseas, it was lightweight, easy to manage and effortlessly beautiful. I canβt thank Meichi enough for the beautiful looks she gave me in one gown. I highly recommend her wonderfully talented services. Thank you once again Meichi!

β β β β β I'm a genuine introvert who finds it challenging to source for everything needed for a wedding. When I'm totally clueless about anything to do with fashion/apparels etc, it was indeed difficult to just approach anyone to say, "hey, I've a wedding coming up and uhh, any wedding dress designer you'd recommend?" So I depend on Google reviews and social media pages to source for a good one - and i found Mei Chi's on IG. If you're reading this, I hope this helps you for your pre-wedding research!
DM-ed her with a few pics of gowns I like, and her responses were so sweet and helpful to guide me through with the materials, style, etc. Non other gown-making companies/profiles made me feel comfortable about discussing a dress like Mei Chi did.
Meeting up with Mei Chi was awesome. I needed the dress for ROM, wedding, also able to handle frequent travels. I wanted elements of our furkids (5 of them) in the floral embroideries. From all the messy thoughts I threw out, she's able to tell me what I actually like, the style, the mood, & able to instantly sketch an idea out, as well as matching the fabric. She's also able to work closer towards my budget too, which is perfect. Hubby immediately told me to get this dress byMeiChi cause "she's professional & passionate with her works, she knows what's she's talking about, unlike others".
I needed the dress in less than 2 months (totally unprepared) - Mei Chi is able to catch up with my timeline, and allowing some room for alterations between ROM and wedding. The dress turned out to be AMAZING and i can't stop talking about it.
Thank you Mei Chi, so so much for making this whole process comfortable and fun. I never knew I needed this and you gave me fond memories throughout the pre-marriage preparations. Can't wait to meet you again before my wedding!β€οΈ

β β β β β I was so lucky to have the amazing and incredibly talented Mei Chi to help design and make my wedding dress. Taking everything in her stride even when I completely changed my design and we started again, she made the entire experience a complete dream from start to finish. Then Covid 19 happened, I got so anxious and worried because of the travel restriction from Sarawak to Kl. In the mean while, Mei Chi was being so thoughtful and supportive to me and we had our discussion mostly through whatsapp. Itβs hard to believe that someone can get so attuned to you and bring all of your ideas in your head to reality but thatβs exactly what she does, she works her magic and brings all your hopes to life and no matter your shape,she will make you look utterly flawless and amazing. Finally, when standing there in my dress for the final fitting,I felt incredible and I owe it all to Mei Chi, there arenβt enough words to describe how grateful I am for your help and support making my beautiful stunning wedding dress. Thank you so much for being such a big part of our wedding and for making me feel beautiful in this stunning dress!β€οΈβ€οΈ

β β β β β I am very particular when it comes to choosing a wedding gown for my special day especially with the limited choice in Kota Kinabalu. I have been searching online for a custom-made gown in Malaysia to make sure that I wear the best for my wedding and it is not easy to invest for a custom-made gown out of KK when it comes to quality and design. Emcee bridal (Mei Chi) happened to appear on my friend's instagram post and I have been scrolling her instagram and website by ensure that I am making the right decision before making a trip down to Kuala Lumpur.
After a long thought, I have decided to put my trust on Mei Chi but at the same time I was feeling indecisive and particular on the design of my gown. She has given me confidence by allowing me to choose the best for myself and a gown that is best suited with. Mei Chi's helpfulness, passion, professionalism and advice have increased my trust on her to do the best for me - the infinity wedding gown.
Due to my tight schedule, I was only able to make 2 trips down to KL for my fittings and I have given Mei Chi headaches on each fitting as I slimmed down a lot compared to my previous fitting (bride always want to have the best body figure on special day :P). At the same time, I was worried about slimming too much and I will not able to fit in the gown well. But Mei Chi managed to alter my gown based on my measurement and it suits me well.
I had the best day of my life and I have made the right decision by choosing Mei Chi for customizing my infinity gown.

β β β β β I was lucky to have the amazing and talented Meichi to design my ROM dress for me . So many had complimented this elegant ROM dress after i posted on instagram. I truly love the back lace detailing that Meichi made for me . Such a masterpiece and i cant wait to rewear it again. The bottom mermaid dress that we picked fitted perfectly with zero adjustment .The mermaid design is super flattering , and most important the slim -fit cutting of the mermaid dress which restored my confidence. I couldnt thank Meichi enough for making me pretty on my special day. I would highly recommend Meichi for her professional and talented service !

β β β β β ByMeichi is a hidden gem find and I couldn't have been more happier to come across her studio in Subang Jaya.
I came across Meichi when I was looking for a local dress designer who can pull-off a mini dress style that I had in mind. I was worried because a lot of designers I found online leaned towards the long, traditional wedding dress silhouettes. Thankfully I found Meichi and I knew the moment that I walked into her quaint, daintly designed studio that I made the right decision. I initially shared some dress image references that I had in mind over email and then set up a physical appointment so we can discuss fabric and colour recommendations in person. She admitted that this was a new design style for her to try as well, but I really had faith in her because after browsing through her previous collections, I knew she was going to deliver.
With just two fittings, she executed the dress I envisioned for myself flawlessly and I couldn't be happier. Her fabric recommendation was perfect, the length was on point and the back bow added that chic touch that I was going for.
Very accommodating and she's super nice as well! At the end of the day, she just wants you, the bride, to be happy - and I was over the moon!

β β β β β I came across Meichi's page on Instagram when I was looking for a custom made Cheongsam for my wedding tea ceremony morning. All I can say is that she made this whole experience super smooth & amazing!
I went to her studio without much thought on what I wanted (couldn't decide whether I wanted to go for something neutral or a more striking tone) - and she patiently showed me the fabric, laces, colour tones to mix and match a couple of options for the fickle minded me!
We ended up deciding on a deep red ankle length front slit cheongsam, with 3D flowers mixed with a tinge of white lace and a full illusionback. It turned out exactly like how I envisioned it to be based on our discussion, it was indeed perfect!
Meichi made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole journey - sending me updates (all the hours & hours of effort bringing this custom handsewn piece to life!) & just 2 visits to the studio in all yet everything turned out amazing.
I feel blessed to have Meichi play a part on my big day & would highly recommend her to any bride-to-be out there, not only for her workmanship which will leave you in awe, but also for her patient, calm and friendly nature which will put you at ease throughout the journey!
