★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No flame, no smoke but just a succulent, solid slab of marvellously moist, tender smoked duck breast fanning its glossy, scorched skin in the scene.
If it wasn’t for the flavourful smokey aroma inundating the room, I could have slept longer in that large, flaky king size croissant bed layered up with a fluffy cushion of yellow scramble eggs and deliciously juicy mushrooms.
Instead of fussing about it, I rather sipped on a calming cup of hot mint chocolate. Loved the refreshing scent of mint and don’t worry, it didn’t taste like toothpaste though I needn’t some to brush my teeth after the delectable slice of moist chocolate cake at Café 1961 Nineteen Sixty One.
