★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came in for lunch and the aircon was not on. Needless to say it was not very comfortable but it wasn't unbearable either. Wr had patin claypot fish and it was fresh and well made. There was zero fishy smell and love the abundant fried garlic present. Had the stir fried young French beans with salted egg and I enjoyed the fresh crunch of the beans. The sweet and sour pork was decent and the deep fried salted egg yolk ball was nice but porky smell was a tad heavy. Love the home made tofu with gravy. Food is generally quite good but environment and service could be much better especially since you need to hike up taxes from the menu price. Service is lacking attentiveness (We were the first to arrive and whole wasting there were only 3-4 other tables filled). Plus the main Chinese waitress who served us really looked and acted like she didn't want to be there. At all. Come for the food and be blind to everything else including the heat and you'll enjoy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place was well lit and had quite a gd crowd. Unfortunately, the food quality was poor. The soup was not clear with pork sediments and likely to have been boiled over and over again. Worse still the soup was served in chipped bowl at the edge. Our sausage and pork rice in clay pot was a total disappointment. This used to be one of our favourite restaurant but now will hv second thoughts going there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered CNY set, it is clearly written rice and tea are included. Unfortunately the CNY reunion mood ruined by the waitress, need to nego for our tea and rice. She even badly told us off “if you still hungry then only I serve you the rice”. Not many customers, but only 2 dishes served after 50minutes waiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food service was super slow even there was only 2 tables of customers. Food taste very salty. And we order base on the picture of the menu, unfortunately food serve was totally opposite of the picture order the 4 king vegetable but only had 3 types vegetables in it instead of 4 types. We ordered small portions came big portions and when we gave feedback they didn’t say anything. Stores had flies too very disappointed. Never eating here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My second visit here, after a few years. Decided to try noodles this meal and they were all not bad but felt very thirsty afterwards. Tried the cantonese fried mixed noodles, hokkien noodle and dry curry pork ribs wantan noodle. The fried chicken wings was tasty too with an unusual sauce. Portion wise was okay for me.
Place was clean, service was good and fast because it was empty at dinner time. More customers came after us. They were considerate to leave the glass doors open for an air conditioned restaurant. We felt better to have fresh air circulation.
