★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my practicum/internship at this childcare centre for 2 months (wish I could work longer). It was a great experience! The teachers are great and friendly, the principal is great too!
The centre is very clean and neat. It is cleaned daily and sanitized frequently. Children really love the meals prepared by the cook at the centre! I can't count how many times the children asked for more food ? One bowl is never enough hahaha. The meals are nutritious and adequate for all the children, and they're freshly prepared daily! The cook also prepares meals for the teachers and they're delicious.
Children seem happy and stress-free here. The routine is easy to pick up and follow (for both the children and teachers). Lessons are carried out daily with the children, as well as circle time. There are no closed-off classrooms but there is an infant room for the infants to sleep.
I have observed that the relationship of parents with teachers are good. Teachers have an application on the phone to keep the parents updated with their children's information daily such as their food, lessons, etc. The parents and teachers always have a small conversation during pick up time. It seems like the trusts are built between teachers, parents, and the children. The relationship between children and teachers are very close. I feel very safe here and so do the children. Feels close to home. All of the children are very cute! Miss them a lot! ?
