Because we have arranged the date with DotCom Catering on 10/12 for the event. However, I received their cancellation notice last night. The reason is that they have two Major Events on 10/12, but they told us that chefs overlooked of it.
From the perspective of the customer, this is very irresponsible. Since the reservation has been booked, we cannot cancel it with just a phone call. If the customer cannot find the Catering before October 12, who should the Event call?
However, from a business point of view, we know that you want to make money, but we small customers are also your customers, not just only target with huge amount.
Please accept this experience and make sure to improve.
