My personal favorite spot for Celup Tepung (fried seafood) in Kuantan. We need to select our seafood first and then they will fry it. Plenty of parking space. The restaurant located very near to Jetty and so, their seafood also is quite fresh. However, I found the price is a bit pricey, but it deserved it. Highly recommended for seafood lover.

The celup tepung is quite tasty. located at jetty terminals becomes the main reason the eaters come to visit. nice view with good foods. a bit far from the main road just follow the map and it will bring you to this place. just pick the seafoods of your choice; shrimp, squid and few species of fishes like kembung, pelaling and then put to weight to determine the price. Then wait until they fried the seafood for you. Other side dishes include rice, mee kari and other deserts. overall it is worth to try.

Quite cheap for 3 medium pelaling fish,2 big squids and 7 prawns (RM37.00) variety of drinks to choose and rm1 mee goreng,overall it's good,and freshly cooked ! totally recommended

It was my first time here, but dont get me wrong. The food is ok. Just my lady friends who are local told that the taste not like before. Probably they used the same oil multiple times for frying. The price affordable. You can get 2 big squid at below rm60. Depending on market price. The day i went, the prawn is small so we didnt took it. Yes, the serve took a little bit longer. Probably too many customer, but it is ok. While waiting, we enjoying the view because its very near to a mini jetty.

This restaurant serves celup tepung food, nasi lemak bungkus, friend noodles, keropok, banana fritters and many other. The variety of food not too many bcs it focus on celup tepung. For me it was a different experience of celup tepung restaurant in Kuantan as we are allowed to choose the fresh seafood that we want (based on size and etc) before it will be cooked. So we can have it based on our budget. In my case, the seafood like selection of squids left were all huge sizing and heavy. There was no choice so we just had them in the basket. (As all know the bigger squid has chewy texture so better choose for medium size). Ok then go for weighing part and know the price etc.I came with my fam members so we ordered for many eater of course it quite pricey as expected. Ok then unfortunantely the waiting time for celup tepung to be served was so long due to the crowd. The food is served in a bunch of plate full with fish, huge squids, prawns and all the seafood that have been choosen before (if u ordered for too much it would be put in several plates). It looks tempting. The taste is quite good. Talking about place. It has quite big crowd (i went there during weekend so it made sense).The car park is spacy so its not a main concern. It is located in front of the beach which i think its nice and windy (if u sit at the outer conner of the restaurant u can see the beach clearly but since it is sandy surface area it has a bad cat poop smell hmm please bear with it. If u cant bear just have inside seating area). Overall it is a nice place (except for the long waiting time and cat poop) to hangout with friends and family just dont forget to practise the SOPs as usual. I would give 5 star if they would improve the service bcs i found it was not systematic and in order (even my fam and i need to wait quite long for drinks and couldnt get my coconut drink coz apprently finished already-they make me waiting but at the end i couldnt have it). So if u want to chill here, just come and enjoy then. Note: i tell this based on my experience. If u think mine is different from you either negatively or positively then it isnt my concern at first place and im sorry if it doesnt met your perspective and expectation. The restaurant crew had done a good job already to serve everyone so no hates ya guys (just so if they can improve a lil bit more in term of waiting time for food and drinks it would be nicer).
