This is a super comfortable, "boutique" style medical center. Suggest to go here as this is the Centre of Excellence for Gastrointestinal and Liver diseases in Malaysia.
The doctors especially my doctor, Dr Mustafa Mohammed Taher was a professional doctor. He can even speak Malay! (He is married to one of my friend). The porcedure was smooth, the process is a breeze, and i love the ambiance here. All is calm and helps with my nervousness as its my first time dealing with knife.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here for a severe bout of diarrhoea and was impressed! In the Emergency Department I was treated by Dr Phan who was pleasant, polite and well spoken. Treatment was fast and prompt and staff were polite. I would definitely come here again and I would suggest others seek treatment at this hospital as well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my surgery done at Cengild G.I. Medical Centre. The patient experience I had was absolutely memorable. Each and every administrative & medical personnel gave me personal attention and I was treated well which contributed to a speedy restoration of health. The nurses were well trained & knowledgeable. I must commend Ms. Gloria Clark who provided customer service excellence & pastoral care towards me. She is indeed a good Ambassador of CGI. Kudos to the CGI staff who knows &
understands how to treat patient during hospitalization. I certainly recommend CGI to anyone out there seeking medical care, treatment, surgery etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been thinking a long time about writing this review and finally decided to do it under an anonymous account as a caution for others who may experience the same thing.
My partner was recommended to do a series of tests here by his regular doctor after a ultrasound during a yearly medical check up revealed something that was cause for concern. A specific doctor was recommended. Whether his regular dr gets a commission for recommendations, i don't know...
We came in for outpatient tests which included a CT scan, which did not find anything and then an MRI.
Overall the center looked very impressive and new. You do not feel like you're in a hospital.
After his tests was completed and he woke up from his anesthesia, we were led to see a specialist, a Chinese Dr who straight up told my partner that he cannot understand why he chose to do these tests.
When my partner informed his about what was discovered in the ultra sound and that we were asked to come into this centre and see the doctor recommended, the Chinese Dr informed us that an ultrasound would not have found what we came in to test for anyway. We were shocked to hear this.
The guy that we were recommended to see then came to see us and told us that " as per the tests, he is perfectly healthy and basically not good for business". He may have meant it as a joke but after a day of testing which we found out were not necessary, we could not laugh.
His joke also costs us upward of RM6000.
Obviously happy to know that we are healthy but felt like a big money making scheme.
Recommendation: Get a 2nd opinion before proceeding with non emergency procedures.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I brought my wife here for a health check up last week. The doctor at the emergency suggested for scope since my wife has been having bloated tummy. Scope was fast and she had bacteria in stomach. Her condition has improved greatly after starting antibiotic. Although it is a small centre specialized in stomach problems, I can feel that the service prioritize patient's care. Would recommend.

Kudos to the entire team of staff from reception, payment, pharmacy, the endoscopy department including a day care Malay nurse who speaks almost perfect Mandarin ??. They were extremely helpful. The place is clean and bright. Special thanks to Prof. Doctor Alex Leow and Ms. Chin, his assistant. Highly recommended.

Came today again for my husband issue and I’m shocked. And speechless. Reception stuff unbelievable rude, rough, angry and unprofessional!!!!! Can’t give even one start for the customer service. Customer service just don’t exist at this place!!! They’re speak to me and my husband like I own them millions and don’t want to pay back.
The best what this hospital have its Dr. Akhtar! He is brilliant. To describe how good he is - not enough the stars on the whole sky.
Also met new for us, Dr. Tan. He works fast, precise and professional. Thanks a lot!!
If not Dr. Akhtar …Never gonna come to this hospital!!! Next time, if necessary will meet him at the Sunway Medical Centre.

Place where they’re ask you to do covid test…. At corridor behind the screen!!!!!!! Lady who waiting for the covid test result in the same area got positive, staff announced her result that everyone can hear that!!! No privacy, no respect for the customers!!! Staff didn’t move her to the separate room, just left her seat at the chair with all other customers..Super dirty, staff didn’t do disinfection, didn’t change gloves.
You really don’t care about your reputation. News can spread around super fast!
And again…I’m shocked!!!!
