★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the cendol and tau Kee. Much better than many touristy spots. Price is moderate, and do not expect varieties of foods here. Char kuey tiao and Laksa are both not bad and worth trying. Nothing too fancy but definitely better than many well known stores in Melaka. Recommended if you are looking for something affordable and not crowded in town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our favourite place for quick snacks or afternoon tea breaks. The stall is famous for Muar style rojak and taukau timun nanas salad with yummy spicy sauces. The portions are compact so that we can order different dishes to share. The service is friendly and attentive. We also like the cendol especially during a hot day. The prices are affordable and wallet-friendly. Over the years, we have tried almost all the items on the menu. Parking may be a challenge during peak hours and weekends. The friendly owner uncle told us that in the evenings, he is now operating at the new food court behind Retoran Lim Tin Pan in the town center.
