The lawyer, Jonathan, had the courtesy to look immediately to my case and explained the law, outlined in clear language about the steps in the process that where needed to be done. Moreover, their legal fee is very reasonable and transparent which they clearly stated the charges before proceeding the case. I would highly recommend Jonathan to anyone who needs a great litigator.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We own a cafe and were facing eviction with insufficient notice from the landlord. Through Chern & Co. our case has been resolved before it escalated, with the landlord wanting to reach an agreement privately in the end, and we couldn't have done it without this law firm.
It was easy to work with our lawyer, Jonathan. Professional yet comfortable to communicate with. It was always directly with him. No go-betweens, which wasn't the case with other lawyers that we've worked with. Our instructions were carried out efficiently but he's always ready to work overtime if need be. Knowledgeable and up-to-date with the most recent policies which proved critical in fighting our case during this pandemic where special considerations were given.
The fees charged are flat-rated so there are no surprise charges in the billing. For a small cafe business like ours, this makes it easier for us to navigate and manage our expenses and expectations.
There was also an incident where our leasing deal with a third party fell through but payment has been made to this law firm to assist us with. We were shocked when our lawyer readily offered to make a refund. Where it is so typical of us to think lawyers are cut-throats, such empathy and kindness from our lawyer are factors that we appreciate the most. We will definitely engage Chern & Co. again for all our business needs because of this.
