Signature: BBQ Skewers and Spicy Fish
One of the many Chinese restaurants around sunway velocity... This is a Hubei "traditional street food restaurant". The decoration and settings here include low table and chairs (resembling street hawker stalls).. Which honestly was a bit uncomfortable for proper dining.
We tried the Chinese skewers here including BBQ Pork 5 ? which was really good... As the meat was lean and seasoned deliciously. A tip is to add Chilli Powder to further spice it up. The lamb skewers 5 ? here is really good too. We also tried the Ikan Bakar 4 ? styled fish ? which was good but it has too much fish bones.
Another Signature would be the Spicy Hubei Fish 4 ? which was not too spicy (I suspect it's localized to suit the taste buds of Malaysians).. And also not too oily. Taste is pretty good and the soup was really nice... It will go really well with some Chinese bihun. This idea came about mainly from one of their other dishes..Steamed Scallops on Garlic 4 ? which was really delicious. Do give it a try here.
However, one complain is that the service seems to be a bit slow and the staff are not very responsive to requests. Missed some orders we had earlier also.. And especially when the place is not exactly full.
