★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here used to be decent, but now it's has just gone way worse.
1. Ordered soondubu jiggae and guess what? The jiggae LITERALLY has soup and tofu only, not to mention that the tofu has gone bad.
Taste wise? It's tasteless and the soup is so oily to the point where when you drink it, you can only taste oil and the sour smell from the tofu.
2. Also ordered seafood ramyeon and even ramyeon tastes horrible. It has an alkaline taste and as a person who regularly eats korean food and korean ramyeon, NEVER have I ever tasted a korean ramyeon with alkaline taste. (the alkaline taste is similar to yellow noodle). And seafood? Just a few clams and sotong and the price is way higher than normal ramyeon. Is it fresh? Of course not.
This restaurant really brings shame to korean food. It is the WORST korean food I have ever tasted. As a person who is not at all picky in food, thank you for being the FIRST EVER restaurant I have ever criticized publicly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Favourite Korean restaurant! The food is yummy, huge portion and price reasonable! Menu range has been extended and they have budae jjigae (army stew)! Staff are friendly and the shop is clean. Always went back to fulfil my Korean cravings!

After looking at some of the reviews and food pics, decided on this place (hoping that it would at least meet similar qualities as my favourite korean food place - Gangnam 88). Unfortunately, it fell way short. Yes, Gangnam 88 probably doesn't rank very high for others, but personally, I only go there for the bbq pork dakgalbi (extra spicy) set. Back to Choi's, we ordered their Sundubu Jigae, probably the better one for the night, Pork Belly Samgyupsal (looks good but the taste doesn't match), and black bean sauce noodles. Don't think i'll be visiting this one again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good service but quality of food is below par. It came as a surprise to me that for every round of meat refill, we must also order the carbs(rice/ramyun) so you'll end eating a lot of rice and noodles instead. Not worth the money...

Reasonable Price. It not a fancy korean restaurant but serve good korean food.
