We chanced upon this while looking for a place to eat in Gopeng. White coffee was highly recommended and it was good indeed. Had kicap special noodles which came with sausage, egg and ham... It was a tad too salty and overpriced at RM12.50 (Bear in mind, this is new village in Gopeng) Similarly for the claypot yee mee...very salty. The nasi lemak was so-so and when we asked for some sambal cos the sambal was not much, was surprised that they charged us for it.. would have appreciated if they informed us. We also tried their traditional Hainanese kaya sticky rice and it was nice. Overall, a decent place to eat as it was clean but they really should reduce saltiness level. Pricey and not worth it due to saltiness level.

Nostalgic, really out of the way. Several other stalls further down the road which are quite good as well. The nasi lemak tastes just like the old days.

Authentic and welcoming kopitiam that give the Kampong vibe. Moreover, it's one of Gopeng's most closely guarded secrets. You must try their Nasi Lemak, Kaya Toast, and Kaya rice. Returning to Kopi Pandan is on our list. On your route to Ipoh, make a pit stop here for breakfast.

We enjoyed our coffee stop here. We had a lovely chat with the owner; listening to his interesting stories in Hainanese. The homemade kaya was really yummy. Try their homemade lemon barley with pandan.

Loved the old school breakfast we had and the panda white coffee that Chop Kheng Bee was famous for. The kaya lo mai is so good and I’ve never seen it anywhere else. The half boiled eggs on toast were really delicious too.

their speciality in traditional Hainanese kaya and coffee. i'm very statisfy with food and drink. i'm not sure is certified as Halal but i saw Malay family eating there. Price are quite $$ for the place around there. if you pass Gopeng may consider a drip of coffee over there.

I heard this place has been around since 1966 and has been renovated three times. Nice and clean place, even the toilets are upgraded. If you are looking for simple and those good old days kind of food.....this is the place to be. The prawn mee reminds me of the taste of the noodles soup which I had during my school days. Simple and yet so appetising loaded with fresh fish balls, fish cakes and prawns. Remember to add in the chilli paste given to enhance the taste. The toasted bread with kaya and 'cut' butter is so crisp.....simply one of the best I have tasted. Coffee was ok, mild, not the bitter kind. The nasi lemak tasted really like those good old days, homemade. Do give the pulut rice with kaya a try, it's nice. Lastly but not least, the owner is an old uncle who is so welcoming and friendly ?.
