★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For some reasons, Bidor Parang is getting attention as a good outdoor knife to have. To the extent that foreigners are coming to this sleepy town to get it at this metal shop. Probably because of some youtube videos. The knifes here are forged by hand by various serious and sweating men and you can buy the knifes at a small hut within the factory compound. They make gardening knifes, cooking knifes, and various work knifes. The people here are polite enough and welcome your business. You will need to maintain each knife to prevent rusting etc, or use it often. Because each knife is hand made, all of them are slightly different. The obvious advantage in coming personally is that you can personally choose a knife that fit you. But of course, if you know knifes, you know that the knife chooses you.
