★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely the place to come for decent fruit, veg and spices. I got cardamom pods, cinnamon, mustard seeds, coriander, lime leaves, lemon grass, garlic and star anise for RM10.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Affordable prices and wide variety of goods and fruits. Parking is a problem, so you'll have to walk a bit to the market. Many of the market stalls are manned by migrant workers. It's a good place to do your monthly groceries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to shop local, for fresh produce & meat in wholesale & retail. The neighbouring shops around the market are a wonderful place to buy small appliances, glassware, stoneware & other Kitchen curios.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the largest wet market in Malaysia and it is also a common place to see the multi-cultural diverse races mingling together. To get the fresh fish, one has to get there early about 7 - 8am. Large selection of fishes are available. This place is a heaven for seafood lovers as fish, crabs, shellfish and prawns are cheap and affordable. If not, chicken, beef, mutton are also sold. In contrast to previous years, prices are stated and no room for bargain. In the vegetables and fruits section, one is spoilt for choice. I bought 2kgs of rambutan for 5 ringgit and 2kgs of longkong for 5 ringgit. I gave 4 stars because there is no car park in this area.
