★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 22 Nov 2020. Heard about this place quite some time ago and finally today managed to visit this shop with my love one. We ordered tea and coffee which I think tea taste better. We also ordered traditional bread (with planta and kaya), one round bread (butter and kaya) and one piece of tau sha pia. Food all taste good especially those bread toast with charcoal and their kaya very delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited on a hot sunny day. The place was very cooling and windy. Had chicken rice and mixed rice on the wooden deck. Food was quite tasty and the price is on the higher end. People there are really friendly and we had a good experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This coffee shop has a very long history. It uses charcoal roasting to prepare every cup of coffee and toast, so the flavour of coffee and bread is particularly fragrant, which is different from ordinary coffee shops.
The price is not expensive. If coffee and bread can't satisfy your appetite, there is a stall outside the door where you can order fried kway teow and wonton noodles.
As long as you come to this small place, it is recommended to come here to taste a cup of coffee and experience the taste of the country.
