★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From three laundry places I've been to in Ipoh, this is the only self-laundry that you need to prepare your own detergent, in which I did not bring it with me. So I chuck in my clothes into the 9KG washing machine for RM 5 and hit start. After 4 minutes later I realize that washing machine small window shows no signs of "bubbly wobbly doodly do" detergent. I just didn't know what to do. Then on my right on the wall, there's a vendor machine where you insert RM 1.50 for a packet of detergent. I bought two, one for my clothes that is currently running and the other one is for my baby's clothes. So I opened it with my teeth, RRrrrR, until it is ripped apart and chuck it in the hole. I was 5 minutes late but it should be okay. Then later I put in my baby's clothes, maybe just about 2 KG, with the detergent early on and start the machine.
After 20+ minutes later, until both are stopped, clothes on both tubs were still WET and I can barely scent any detergent on it. It was very disappointing. I had to bring both home anyway, dry it up later. But after 2 days later, all of the clothes, even the baby's, has a smelly odor.
I reckon the machine wasn't properly working as it should.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasant place to do self laundry, they provide detergent and softener for your laundries. Best if you bring your favorite detergent and softener. Price is good. Place well maintained and clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not so express dobi service for traveller like me. Need to purchase detergent on your own with the price that should include both detergent and softner. Took me 10 minutes to understand how it works. Neither the place is clean as customer wears their shoes inside the premise.
Plus... oh yess, I had to rip the detergent package with my teeth too...
