This place reminds me of Fifty Shades of Grey :P The dark & romantic setup, the great ambiance, food and drinks. I truly think this place is awesome for dates! (IMO, it's too dark for friends gathering), Plus the thrill of finding the yellow door with no signage. Will definitely come back for more!

Came here for countdown and the whole ambiance was really nice ! Good service from the staff , the dessert molten chocolate lava is very pleasant on our palate. The price is reasonable and overall we love it a lot.

Extremely overpriced... Crazy RM50 per glass of wine cocktail which is only what half the glass & barely even taste wee bit of alcohol!? Might as well just get a glass of wine... Food? Salami slices you can get from the super market for about RM20? Is sold for RM70++ here. They mark everything up by that much!

The atmosphere is really good. Food is at a good portion and the price is very affordable. It’s a relaxing and enjoyable Saturday evening.

By now Private Room has already established itself firmly in the affluent TTDI area. I could still remember going there when they first opened for business. Those days, speakeasy bars were quite hard to find and they pride themselves as one of the first speakeasy bars that specialise in wine - an idea conceived by a team of bankers, entrepreneurs and sommelier who love their wines. Private Room has 2 private rooms within Private Room covered with red drape cloth for more intimate (or private) sessions for friends or business meeting. β—ΎA wine shelf displaying various lables organised by types of wine, mostly under 200. β—ΎThey do have premium selection of wines stored in a hidden chiller (JUST ASK if you feel like treating yourself or your company to a good vintage). β—ΎAlthough they are specialised in wines, it doesn't mean that they don't have other options - take your pick from cocktails, whisky, vodka, gin, brandy or even rum (although the choice might be limited) β—ΎBrowse through their menu for bar snacks or if you prefer proper food, you can order from their sister 2ND FLR restaurant next door. β—ΎThis time I had the pork crackling and cheese & cold cut platter to go with a bottle of Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon. At the time I write this post, I have not gone back there for a while.. perhaps a visit to Private Room should be planned asap.
