★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered their chicken rice set through grabfood.
I felt that their chicken was good. It was juicy and not dry (despite getting breast part). The chilli tasted pretty authentic and radish soup was nice as well.
However, the same couldn't be said about their rice. A chicken rice dish has 2 main component, the chicken, and the rice. One of it fails, and the whole dish is ruined.
This is my second time trying their chicken rice with 1 month gap in between. First time when I tried, the rice was dry and undercooked. There was a crunch to every bite, could sense that some of the grains weren't cooked well. To give them the benefit of the doubt, I thought this was probably a one time mistake, so after a month, today I ordered again, and I had the same unpleasant experience with the rice. They should really look into the cook of the rice, overcooked rice can be looked over, but undercooked is a serious "no-no". However the idea is to have the perfect rice going with the chicken.
The rice could use more flavor in my opinion, it wasn't fragrant enough and didn't have much of the chicken flavour. Please fix this.
It would've been a 4star had the rice been okay, unfortunately it wasn't hence a 2star from me. Thank you, hope my criticism would help improve the quality of your food. Good day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious tasty chicken rice. The fried chicken rice was nice too. Quite ample of tables and seatings, poor thing is, difficult nto get a carpark in the area, well known busy streets. This second branch of the restaurant, just opened several months ago. Reasonable pricing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was craving for a good chicken rice and googled this place. Was hesitant at first because never been here before… but the taste didn’t disappoint me ? Flavorful fried spice duck and very tasty chicken rice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The wantan noodle is a disappointment. It taste very different with the usual chinese wantan noodle. It taste more like instant noodle. The roasted chicken is ok. But i would recommend the roasted duck, it's good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our go to place nowadays for Hainanese Chicken Rice. I think we tapau'ed lunch or dinner, from here at least once a week ?, since January. So far, we've tried ..
1. CR with steamed chicken and roasted chicken ... lulus
2. Wantan soup ... lulus
3. Wantan noodle ... ok la (son #4 said need to repeat order to confirm)
4. Wantan noodle with fried spiced duck ... ok la (son #3 said duck tasted like chicken, so he requested to try with roasted duck next round)
5. Hokkien Prawn Noodle ... ok la (Broth is ok, but felt like there is a missing ummph. Nothing to hinder future repeat orders)
6. Mee Curry ... son #4 said lulus (8yo n picky eater)
... and we shall try the others on the menu in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicken is good , rice abit dry. Curry noodle is total disappointement , taste of kunyit empowered all curry spices and dry tofu is sour!! The Lady staff not courteous ! Some improvement needed!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to have chicken rice. The duck rice was good too. The poultry were well seasoned. The rice was flavourful and so was the soup. One serving of beansprout was enough for two pax. The pictures depict rice order with extra meat; Chicken rice with extra chicken.
