★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thai food brand 'Na Ka' is delicious. She serves Phat Phet tumeric sauce which is spicy, Tom yam soup, fried basil leaves with chicken (not much spicy), Succulent and fragrance fried rice / noodles and many more.
Price is reasonable good. Famous in Alor Setar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hawker centre in Alor Setar. Many varieties of hawker stalls there. You can find Vietnamese food, thai food and taiwan cuisine, curry mee,bak kut teh , economic rice. There is a stall which sells varieties of biscuits and kuih. The famous "Shi Gong" 市宮 laksa has moved here. Quite a big crowd during lunch time but SOP is observed. Must try the vietnamese spring roll and dried noodles. Very nice. Most stalls closed on Fridays.
