★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered via Grab and their sambal is really genuine Indonesian style (using ulek and cobek not using the blender). It's really good, but for my next order I will try to request they put the sambal on the side ? This is must try. Adding more green to the ulam wld be perfect. The ulam served were cabbage and cucumber only.
Ulek is the traditional& manual way Indonesians prepare the sambal terasi. In Malaysia we use the lesung batu. Some ulek/cobek is made from stones /volcano stones, some made from wood.
