I really experienced the good service attitude of the beauty salon here. The environment is very good. The beautician can also treat many skin problems.

โ โ โ โ โ I have a terrible experience in the hand of Ms SwenYe, one of Dermique's director/beautician of Bandar Sri Permaisuri branch. I went in expecting normal facial and was strongly ask to do chemical peeling due to pimple mark on my skin. I ask is this treatment necessary as I ONLY have pimple mark and was told that I have pigmentation, I replied that I already accepted it and she said pigmentation makes ppl looks old. She keeps telling me solution, solution, and use the word confirm to me that my pimple mark will be gone. I was told chemical peeling do not have acid, and not told that the side effect is include irritation. Next day, my skin is inflamed+irritated. 10days later, she said another peeling is required, and also repeat the word solution to me, and next day, my skin is again more inflamed and tight. You can imagine the tightness where the skinโs natural moisture and protective barrier is gone. She insist that more chemical peeling is required to solve the issue (caused by chemical peeling in the 1st place). But she change her statement later saying that my skin is โless is moreโ.
Doctor diagnosed my skin issue as dermatitis. No apology is given to me by this beautician. Instead, me the customer is being accused back that I have skin issue before the chemical peeling. I have photos before and after peeling. I have smooth skin, only have pimple mark and I do not have skin dermatitis/irritation/inflammation during consultation.
No customer should be treated this way. Being ask to do chemical peeling due to pimple mark, 1st time fail, and put another round of acid 10 days later, fail again, and then the customer is being blamed. I just hope that the lesson learnt is to have honest and truthful consultation, never mislead customer, and side effects of a chemical peeling is not only peeling and redness, but also infection and irritation must be told to the customer before any peeling is being performed.
A customer can only make an informed decision when correct and truthful info was provided. No customer should walk to a beauty centre with smooth skin and end up with complications. Making mistake and apologizing is a more ethical way of doing business rather than accusing back the customer. God bless this beautician for all that she said and done to me.
PS: I've sued her for negligence and Health Ministry agency has also raided Dermique and confirm to me that the chemical peeling product used on my face is not registered with Health Ministry Malaysia! Telling lies, negligence, using illegal product on my face, accusing back the customer, what more can't this beautician do. I wish to share my bad experience so that no one, no one will go thru what I went thru with this Bandar Permaisuri branch's Director. If something abnormal happen right after first time treatment, go seek professional advise from doctors/skin specialists, at the very least you actually know what is happening to your skin.
