Just attended one today.
The aircond is just nicely cooling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come over for a friend's kenduri. I like the airy space, no dank smell and clean environment inside the dewan, looks new.
The open car park right behind the Dewan & conveniently the masjid is in front of Dewan across d road. Easily accomodate 1000 pax.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to have a small crowd for a gathering. But something needs to be done at the parking lot if your event is at night. That parking lot needs to have the place lighted up as it quite dark and the slope coming in and out in quite steep.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hall itself was good if decorated & done properly by organizers but how the entrance and side entrance were designed was baffling.
You have a main gate to enter but the default entrance as you enter the main gate is actually a side entrance. Then you have a side entrance where most cars are parked and a little lane leads you into what seems to be the main entrance. Pretty crazy one would have thought! Side gate leading to main entrance; main gate leading to side entrance ?
No matter how nicely done the inside deco was done, the issues of these two entrances have to be addressed - arrival of guests of honour to a wedding have been messy when the host had been waiting at the main entrance only to realise that the guests have already appeared at the side entrance.
