★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finding the rabies vaccine is very difficult on the island and Dr. Boo has it at a reasonable price, about 1/3 of what was quoted at the government hospital. Very fast, was in and out within an hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good place for treatment. The doctors are clearly explaining the patients on the symtoms and diagnosis. Yet, having three staffs at the reception and dispensary combined while taking hours to deliver medical certificates and medicines is a major drawback. Recommended place for diagnosis if you're willing to wait minimum 1 to 1.5 hours.

Operation hours just until 830pm, but stated until 10pm .
Front desk also not helpful and rude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exceptional service and qualified doctors. I had to get a rabies shot and I was in and out in less than half an hour. Their English was impeccable and the staff is very welcoming. I highly recommend it if you need to consult a clinic in the Kuah area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all, I want to thank Dr Boo for offering the PCR service in the fight against Coronavirus. Unfortunately, the test was so painful I will not be using his service again and neither will any of my colleagues on the island.
I have to travel for work and have undergone many PCR tests in Costa Rica, Panama, Spain, UK, Dubai, Maldives and Malaysia.
This was BY FAR the most painful PCR test I have experienced to date. I felt pain in my nose and behind my eye for at least 2 hours following the test. It actually drove me to tears the pain was so bad, even though I am accustomed to taking these tests regularly.
The process of collecting cells from the nasal cavity can be a delicate and painless procedure, as demonstrated by the many other physicians I have seen for this test. Others have not angrily grind against the nasal wall like Dr Boo or pushed the swab so deep that it hurts behind the eye. I have never experienced that before in 20+ PCR tests.
I will find another PCR test provider on my return to Langkawi next month.
It would also be helpful to put a small sign on the front door directing people to the back of the building. I was not aware the tests were being conducted on the road outside behind the building and so I was waiting 15 minutes until I called and a nurse came around the corner. (A simple easy fix could be some signage).
Again, I am thankful to Dr Boo for providing this important service but suggest he goes for some PCR tests himself elsewhere to realise the process does not have to be so vicious and is equally as effective without the pain.
This review is purely relating to the PCR testing service, I cannot comment on other services provided by Dr Boo.
