★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been eating this stall for more than 20 years! The soup is really flavourful with bits of garlic. Duck meat, meatball, fishball, little bit of pork intestines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The kueh-teow-theng (soup noodle) is a musy try! One of the better ones in Penang Island! Besides this, the asam laksa is also a MUST try here. IMHO, I find this better than the famous Kek-Lok-See one. The indian mee goreng/mee rebus (fried indian mee & 'boiled' indian mee) is only nice if there isn't many orders.
So, i would recommend only ordering it is you do not see him/her mass frying the noodles. The beverages you can get here are sugar cane juice & air mata kucing (local longan drink). Both are good!
Over all, the prices of the food and beverages here are very competitive! I.e. cheap & nice!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A popular duck meat koay teow th'ng stall that operates in the afternoon along the road leading to the Penang Hill lower station. One of the better koay teow th'ng in Penang, comes with duck meat and organs, pork slices and intestines, fish and meat balls. The soup is clear and tasty. Service is fast. However, getting a table to enjoy the koay teow th'ng is a problem. Only a few metal tables and stools placed in a small lane, under a big tree, behind the stall. Its perfect complement on a hot afternoon is the fresh sugar cane water. Try the laksa from the neighbouring stall too. It is good too. Mee goreng, cucur udang and pasembor are also available at the adjacent stall. Parking is a big problem here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Duck meat koay teow tng just so so, slight above average. 4 fishballs, only few pieces of duck meat and some pork intestine. It's name of duck meat koayteow tng not really justify since so little of duck meat given. RM5.50 per serving. A bit pricey. 3 stars
