β β β β β heard about this kueh chap a while ago and decided to give it a try. if you miss home dearly, this would do. wished the soup could have been darker in color tho. RM9 and RM11 for small and large portion respectively.

β β β β β Referring to the Deep-fried Turnip cake: I thought it was very good especially when it was at least still a bit warm (it was lukewarm when i started eating it). It had a very good crunch with each bit which was accompanied by a nice salty taste of the cake. The texture might not be very typical of these sort of things, i believe. It was on the sorter side but i truly enjoyed it as is. The only thing that i wasn't a fan of is the fact that it was rather oily. I used a tissue to absorb each piece before eating and that helped a lot. I would get that again the next time i am in the area. Rm 5 per pack.

β β β β β My favorite makan place for Sarawak food.
There are Sarawak Laksa, Kolo Mee, Red Kolo Mee, Kuey Chap, Tomato Mee, etc
Friendly stall operators and owner is nice too. At least once a week, my family would get our meals here. Now with pandemic, we even donβt mind to drop by just to take-away. Our comfort food ?
Also the chicken curry noodles also nice. Thereβs a new stall selling some kind of nyonya laksa, I think. Hubby ordered the seafood laksa. It was okay. I still will order my default red kolo Mee.
