โ โ โ โ โ Worst experience ever we applied a month ago and still no answer. When you go there to check your approval status.. on the first week, they ask when did you apply...if you say a week..they tell us oh still early come back next week. When two weeks pass..they say it takes three weeks and so on.
As for calling the embassy DO NOT BOTHER!!! They will not pick up the phone and if you are lucky after half of an hour or more trying they will put you on hold for ever and never get back to you.

โ โ โ โ โ The staff of the embassy are really friendly and helpful!
They try to do their best and are usually overwhelmed by the number of visa requests and other consular services requested. It would be amazing, though, if this building can be upgraded and supported with more facilities to help the staff and visitors alike have a better experience and shorter wait times.

โ โ โ โ โ the egyptian guy at the window told me there is no tourist visa to Egypt, eventhough I showed him on Google that tourist to Egypt is available, after that I called the embassy and they told me maybe there was a misunderstanding. I spent around 80 myr just to go and come back from the embassy all for nothing. changing my destination now to Turkey:)

โ โ โ โ โ I'm a Malaysian student who will be visiting Egypt for a volunteer project for 50 days. When I first went to the Egyptian Embassy in KL, the staffs were very friendly. The documents submission was easy and smooth. Waited for 2 weeks and got my visa yesterday. The process was easier than I thought!
Appreciate the embassy employees very much!

โ โ โ โ โ Worst embassy in KL. No proper response, no tracking number, nothing. If you planning to travel Egypt and you need visa please change your destination country. This embassy will never get you visa nor they will give any update. They are very rude. I didnโt know Egypt people are so rude and no help. They will say visa will come from Egypt. What a joke!! What youโre there for? Just to be rude with people?! One small advise: Youโre representing your country in a foreign land. Please be nice. Your bad behaviour will lead no tourist!
