★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Engaged them for electrical and plumbing work recently. Electrical work was good but plumbing work was really disastrous. The subcontractor who serviced us under ADE electrician was LYC Home Service.
Before engaging them, we did tell them on what to do, what are our expectations, they seem to understand quite well on what we wanted, pricing is more or less the same as the other suppliers we surveyed, thus the engagement.
At this point, I must say that we should have noticed something is off when they discussed the pricing among themselves without telling us the pricing for each item then, not to mention that they didn't jot down all the things we mentioned to do in the first place (other suppliers did). Since the invoice is hand-written and written as a "package deal" (Yes, you see that right, package deal, so it's very hard to amend any item, good or bad, you have to deal with it), they insisted they cannot do itemized bill so it's very hard for us to argue anything if there's misunderstanding. Especially the plumber, not only is he very rude, he does things without approval and always takes shortcuts. Instead of drilling a new hole to install the shower head holder, he cut it shorter without asking us first. We bought it ourselves and now it is damaged and loose and he didn’t even bother to install it properly!
Long story short, you should never, ever engage them. Totally NOT RECOMMENDED for value, bad PR in handling disputes (When I ask to speak to their boss, they can tell me that their boss is rich, doesn't care much about money, it's up to us to pay however much we want, totally playing the guilt game). Our sink is still leaking, even after asking them to fix it for us for 2nd or 3rd time. This is the worst plumber I have ever engaged in my entire life. If you don’t want any headache, don’t ever engage them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Originally engaged them for electrical work. When they arrived they saw that our ceiling was leaking and they said that they could fix this issue as well. The subcontractor who serviced us under ADE was LYC Home Service.
The electrical works were done well. However with the leaking kitchen ceiling the leakage came back within a year. They actually gave us a 1 year warranty at the start (The full price for fixing the ceiling was around RM3k) . When we contacted them again regarding the leakage they said they would come and have a look.
Upon inspection, they said that the leakage was coming from elsewhere and not the original spot they suspected and to fix everything it would require another RM4.5K even though our warranty has not expired. They also suggested to fix another spot as it is "suspected" to be the cause of the leak in addition to the first leaking spot.
It is absurd that I have already spent RM3k to get it fixed and now they require another RM4.5k only because they gave a wrong diagnosis during the first time around.
