After more than a month of going back and forth, with 5 of their technicians coming over and trying to repair my machine, i got a refund as they did not fix my problem (washing machine) and they were not prompt. I am now in the look out for a new provider. Edit : I’d like to add that Electrolux sent a technician that finally managed to sort my issue. He was professional and efficient.

Thank you Ashur for patiently guiding me through over the phone to settle my washing machine problem. My first encounter with digital problem with my 1 year old electrolux washing machine. It was a short wait to be attended . So happy to be able to continue my day's chores.

28 Feb 2022 Hello Electrolux Where is d replacement unit that you promised since 24 Feb. I called your service centre almost everyday and got the same answer...waiting for dealer to provide a replacement unit. If you cld not provide the same model please UPGRADE OR RETURN MY MONEY SOONEST POSSIBLE. VERY BAD AFTER SALES SERVICE AND INCOMPETENT TECHNICIAN!! 24 Feb 2022 Very bad experience with Electrolux products...washing mc n hob. Washing mc broke down several times...spent so much on repair works. Finally bought a new mc of other brand. Bought a hob on 14 Feb 2022. The small burner was not functioning. A technician came to repair but he spoilt all 3 burners. Electrolux promised to send a new replacement unit but their service is so slow. I am without a stove for d past 3 days. Electrolux still cld not give me a date n time to send d replacement unit

Electrolux is a good brand. However, care for the product is essential. In my case, I bought the Washer/Dryer EWW12842 in 2016. Care includes: (a) only to use proper front load detergent, or we call it 'low sud' detergent. Brand examples - Top, Persil and Max9Kleen. Ensure the liquid bottle or powder packaging comes with the statement 'low sud' detergent/powder. (b) never place the machine outside your home, preferably indoors. Malaysia's weather is not that friendly towards electronic equipment. (c) never overload more than the recommended amount. E.g., if the machine is 7kg washing and 5 kg drying, keep it below the figure. Unfortunately, most machines don't indicate overload, but you have to use your measurement tool or careful weight judgement. All above, I discovered on my own. It wasn't made known by the seller, nor the technician. But today, 2022, sellers seem more responsible, including the technicians. They do advise you accordingly. It is paramount to purchase Electrolux from known sellers such as Sen Heng, TBM, Harvey Norman, etc. It is mainly due to the warranty and after-sales service. Be prepared to pay more. There is no guarantee (50/50 risk) if you buy a product from an online seller. Because installation upon delivery matters. If the delivery person does not install the product properly, it will malfunction. The most sought after info is the "after-sales service". Average. You have to lodge any 'service request' through Electrolux Malaysia. Never go directly to the technician because the technician won't lodge the report on your behalf. Hence if you continue having an issue with the machine despite the repair, you will get frustrated because you can only be dependent on the same technician, and Electrolux won't take the responsibility. Most parts are only valid (warranty period) for a month. Upon which, if the part malfunction, you have to pay for it 'again'. I rated three stars because: (a) Product is expensive if you purchase with an extended warranty (perhaps extended warranty up to 10 years) from proper sellers. It will only lead consumers like us to look for a substitution. E.g. LG, Samsung, Toshiba etc. (b) You have to do your homework by studying what you are purchasing because dependency on seller or technician knowledge doesn't full-prove your product usage methods. (c) Electrolux doesn't take responsibility or accountability for its technicians for after-sales service. It allows the technician to strike direct negotiation with the clients. I guess little they realise that such practices affect their brand reputation in the long run. Electrolux should emulate other global brands. (d) Too short for a product warranty. Once again, a one-month contract only raises doubt on the product quality. You only provide the shortest warranty period if you don't believe in your product.

Totally irresponsible and unorganised planning of repair schedule. Called the shop who sold the item, they had arranged Electrolux technician appointment. 19/1. Upon the day 21/1 promised to come, the technician Only call up and ask what is the problem ! Explained and said need additional spare part to come over ; yet never reply since then. They called said the parts arriving on 27/1, yet no news even calling them or WhatsApp them. Until now alr 5/2, still no sign at all!!! Totally cannot buy this brand anymore !

Disappointingly irresponsible, unresponsive, incompetent customer service team with their technicians. Despite multiple chasers (10+ emails over 2 weeks) to ask for a check on the Aircon which compressor is still under warranty, there is till now ZERO attempt by Electrolux to arrange an appointment with me. The customer service staff also repeatedly ignored my emails and when they do finally reply, they continued to conveniently skirt my repeated questions on the transportation fees, labour charges, spare parts, gas filling by either telling me to ask the technician (who NEVER called) or telling me "please do not hesitate if you require more information" without telling me how much those charges are! In short, Electrolux warranty is effectively non-existent as there is literally no one to support your warranty needs, and Electrolux showed no apologies for their poor service. Worst warranty experience ever, even the cheaper Chinese brands are better. Totally disappointing. I just pray my other Electrolux appliances remain working. I won't buy Electrolux appliance again.

Bad service. Very unprofessional. They made an appointment to service my oven at home and no calls were made by the technician. I call them up and they said that they have to postpone the appointment. They made the appt and they cancelled it and postpone to a later date. That is also not confirmed. I have decided that I will never buy another Electrolux item because of this After Sales service which is very bad. A lot of conplaints already and nothing has been done to improve the situation. The Executives there must be deaf, dumb and blind.

Why can't Electrolux Malaysia provide a toll free number for its customers to call? 1-300 numbers the customer needs to pay. As customers we already pay for the product & services. Malaysian customers getting fleeced left, right and centre. Reading the reviews looks like Electrolux has bad CS. I have a 5 year old washing machine and the washing machine already having spin balance problem. Not a reliable machine. A year before that the door couldn't unlock because the door lock switch failed. Their after sales repair service is a joke. Will strongly recommend others NOT to buy this brand. Top management and the rest of the company must be sleeping ignoring customer complaints and happily enjoying their time working there.
