Authentic family-run business. Absolutely loved the taste during our short stay @ Ipoh. Had the spicy sour soup w fishcake, fried fish fillet and the porridge with pork patty. All tasted strongly and very good. Had to go there twice!

Excellent service. 5 stars for that. Quick, clear and very clean. Tried the fish head and also pork noodles with sour and spicy soup. I'd give that 6/10. The pork was pretty dry and the soup just average. I'm yet to try their porridge, heard its their star dish. However, i might not be trying it anytime soon.

Definitely worth and highly recommended. We ordered Signature spicy and sour soup with pomfret fillet and deep fried pork intestine porridge. The fruit juices are very refreshing as well.

Food is superb, serving is huge. Very value for money. But the shop is too stuffy, unorganised and poorly ventilated. Service is quite poor, staff was playing phone when we have already arrived for more than 10 mins. Dishes not cleaned after customers left.

It occupies the premise of Tai San Yuen (ๅคงไธ‰ๅ…ƒ) restaurant (now no longer in business here). Another branch of Fai Kee family business famous for its fish head noodles, this time in Gunung Rapat. The food served here can live up to its reputation. Opens 8.00 am - 9.00 pm. Menu: noodles, porridge and side dishes. It can be quite tedious or hilarious once you start to order the food from the waiter / menu. What kind of accompanying meat: fish, chicken or pork? Which part: fish head, fish meat, offals, ... ? What kind of fish: grouper, pomfret, ..., fried or not? What kind of noodles? What kind of soup-base? Add milk or not? Whew!

The fried grouper is selling fast. We ordered bihun soup and the soup is very flavorful. Fried pork also fresh and juicy. Everything is good. Will visit again.
