What I like about IB profile learner is both of my kids can develop strong academic, social and emotional characteristics. The IB programmes impact students to be more independence and build their confidence. I wish they can have choices in Islamic & improve bahasa malaysia to their students.

After studying at Fairview for the past 9 years, I believe that it is one of the best schools you could go to in JB. The teachers are the friendliest people you could ever meet—advising you in both scholarly and personal aspects of your life and the way the IB curriculum is followed so well such that they encourage you to be better learners following the IB learner profiles instead just memorising your textbooks word for word. The sense of community and inclusivity is what makes Fairview special.

The only full IB school in Malaysia (with PYP, MYP, and IBDP courses provided). There are 5 campuses as well as an University under the name of Fairview. The academic faculty consists of experienced IB teachers that can provide the best education. Students are taught from young to be independent, communicative, inquiring, creative, open-minded, caring, knowledgeable and reflective life learners that will benefit society in the future. Recommended!

My journey in this school is remarkable. The education system is strong and very useful for my future. Before joining this school I have been an introvert and I don't show my talent in a alot of places. After joining Fairview and the opportunities they gave me have really make me grow as I was a child. I have so much of good memories with teachers who cares and really educate us with dedication. Fairview has been a great place for me and I am excited to see what is coming up in the future with the help of Fairview ?.

Please don't send your child to Fairview. It's a worst school ever in JB. The management and coordinators just keep to ask parents to introduce school to friend for enrollment. The purpose is want to money from parents. They are not showing a quality education to child as the school fee is expensive than other international school which is can provide much more better. Again, please don't waste your time to enroll your child to this school, read the reviews from Google and glassdoor, you'll find that how terrible this Fairview in Malaysia. The number of students dropped from 200++ to 100++ this two years. Don't trust those good reviews, they approached former employees and gave $ for good reviews.

I have 2 children who have just newly joined the school this year, so far they are very enjoying the school life. The teachers and staff are very friendly, the teachers always updated me on my children's academic progress, so I am able to supervise them during the weekend. Their academic have been improved ever since they joined Fairview. I really like the IB teaching method, which helps my children find their interest in learning. They always wanted to go school even during school holidays. I am happy with the school, definitely recommend the school.

I go to this school and it is the best school ever because this is an IB school, the teachers are very kind and not scary at all. I enjoy spending time in school a lot.

As a student who has been here for a long time (8 years), the beginning were calm and nice. However as the school progresses, multiple changes were done and mostly unsatisfied many students but it revolved around the new pandemic. I will go into a few other notes before diving into the pandemic that changed the school immensely. 1. While in PYP, I noticed only a singular teacher is teaching all subjects. Like a homeroom teacher teaching english, maths, etc.. 2. I heard that there had been a false case of expulsion because of a student (would disclose who but won’t)’s action. 3. If a student was harmed, I believe a regular punishment would be a temporary suspension and a warning letter. However, as a victim of that event, that student who harmed the victim was instead scolded by their parents. It made me think no matter how dire the situation is, you’d stick to a penalty meter of a student doing one potentially dangerous action as a “Warning 1”. 4. Cases involving students subjecting themselves to other negative things have yet to be resolved, despite the culprit being easily there. 5. Ever since the pandemic had started, all staff members resorted to doing online class for the safety of others. But after some time, the school for some reason had made students to risk their lives for school by making them go to school. 6. Students are unable to head outside of the canteen for unspecified reasons. Despite it being a heavier risk, the staff members wanted to continue this path. 7. I have noticed some staffs threatening students to either turn on their camera otherwise their parents would be called or that if a student hasn’t done a minor change to an assignment, the parents would be given a notice. It seems like teachers/staff members use the “calling your parents” act as an excuse to make students do their work otherwise they’d potentially be beaten up with a rotan/hanger or even worse, get abandoned. Even if the parents subjected their child to stay with them, it is a potential risk to the children’s future. 8. When it comes to rewards/awards, all they give is a stationary case with a pencil or two. It doesn’t entirely make it seem rewarding at all since the reward is just some fake gold medal/trophy and a bunch of stationary items. Entirely, the school is bad. I don’t recommend your children to be enrolled to such school, especially with high and ridiculous prices. Unless you want your child to potentially suffer in stress and events, send them here.
