★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s my third going in the store without purchasing anytime. There is more than 5 staffs working in that store and just 1 cashier is open for payment. I just want to drop in to purchase 1 sausage, but it’s took me more than 10 mins of waiting time and ended up I didn’t purchase it.
Although there is a clear signage stating that oden counter is at the end and others goods is at the front, but somehow the front counter is not open despite having so many ppl working in a tiny store. The staff was impolite and not friendly , don’t even bother to answer. If you are looking for family mart, I suggest you to go to some other outlet like sungai ara, e-gate or farlim. I don’t usually drop review at any place, but this situation that I faced is just ridiculous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As I could get certain daily necessities from this place, I pay quite a frequent visit to this place and I kind of like it. Of course, I do visit this outlet today (22/02/2022) to get myself a 'chicken slice + egg mayo' sandwich and a bottle of 568ml Farm Fresh Fresh milk. The sandwich is tasty and fresh, but not for the latter. The bottle of Fresh milk was nicely sealed. I drank it 10minutes after my purchase and to my surprise, it tasted sour. It was an unbelievable experience for me. I drank it another mouthful hopefully to prove my taste bud wrong, but it still tasted sour. Then I re-check the expiry date again, it stated 07/03/2022. I just need to throw the whole bottle away, and that costs me RM6. I do understand that other factors may have contribute to this spoiled milk, but I think I raise this here, so that Family Mart and other customers can be aware of this. Well... I will still visit this outlet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having the 25% offer promotion for Oden during 10pm to 2am, but saying Oden had sold out???? What an improfessional way to promote this activity!!! Don't Family Mart foreseeable this activity is especially for midnight??? There is NO REASONS they have not enough stocks for Oden!!!! Family Mart Please improve yourself!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the opportunity to visit this new outlet recently and I was quite disappointed. Not many people due to Covid19 so I manage to order my ice cream pretty quick. But then the machine somewhat broke down halfway so they only managed to prepare 3 cups of ice cream when I am ordering 5. The 3 cups were left on the table while waiting for them to fix the ice cream machine. I understand issue can happen so my expectation is while I don't mind waiting, the staff should have offered me fresh ice cream since i waited quite long and the initial batch of ice cream already melted a bit. Eventually when I got all of my ice cream, true enough some of the ice cream already melted quite a lot. Instead of rushing and opening more outlets, I hope Family Mart can also emphasize on quality and good customer service to all their staffs too. Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried ice cream from Family Mart since the sofato was out of stock. Kapiti ice cream is from New Zealand. Pretty good I must say. Chocolate Monaka has this soft wafer covering the ice cream. Both are not cheap but worth to try at least once.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staffs were quite helpful and friendly. You get all the usual Family Mart products here. The store is quite small and compact, but that is normal for shops at Summerton.
Parking might be an issue as the area is traffic heavy even during non-peak hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Family Mart is one of the best convenient store in Malaysia. Summerton branch store is a bit small, so expect slower service and small walking space. Love their Oden, ice-cream, cream puff, sausages and rice box. This family mart is just toooooo slow.
