★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The challenge of cooking prawn Mee is the broth texture has to be diluted yet the taste not diluted. This humble hut meet that challenge well. After first burst of spicyness there was ample shrimp flavour poking through. The coffee kaw is decent but not kaw enough. But his shrimp sambal sauce is kaw and elevates the prawn Mee to the next level. Overall a prawn Mee that well reflects the uncle 35 years of experience. It's THE prawn Mee of this China Town cultural street.
