Came here during weekend thus the queue and crowds the space was smaller than expected, clean vibes and was so noisy ? was quiet surprise there was worm under the table but didn’t cause any panicking. Saw some customers was using PCs thus start doing some small work during my dine-in however was told by one of the staffs that “queue was very long” and reminding us to not do work. This was fine but they did not tell the other customers who was also doing PC work beside us and they stayed longer than me. I had to quickly finish my drinks as all the staffs was giving us the “ stares” from far. Felt very pressure in a small space?? on the brighter side, I had to say the food was nice especially the Sando series and the price is at the higher end.

I rocked up here on a Saturday morning with a book and was the first person there. Expected this place to be a little busier (and it eventually did). And to be honest, if I had worse judgement I'd probably stay here the entire day. I really like the entire concept, the sorts of seating available, the vibe, the food and coffee. Maybe the sandwiches are a little bit on the small side for the price you're paying (RM24+), it would be good to have more sides instead of just pretzel chips. But the coffee is rock solid. Yeah, it's a win for me. Pro tip: explore the space around a bit for some surprises.

Cafe in up & coming The Five The people behind Optimist Coffee, a popular coffee kiosk in Ampang Park LRT Station and Bukit Bintang that have served countless cups of coffee on the go for the morning crowds, have finally launched their full-fledged cafe-cum-eatery at Damansara Heights. Feeling + or Feeling Plus takes up a bright and sunny space on the first floor of Block A in the up & coming The Fifth Place @ The Five, a refurbished and repurposed Kompleks Pejabat Damansara (KPD). When I was there, I spotted Yellow Brick Road who has moved here from Jalan Batai, as well as Nourish by Kenny Hill Bakers taking up space alongside Qra grocer. Motivational phrases are scribbled on the white wall and window glasses, with furnitures made of plywoods filling the space with raw cement on the floor and ceiling. Ordering is made easy with QR code on the blocks placed at every table to scan, order and pay - talk about convenience. ◾Orange Espresso Tonic RM16 - after a heavy meal earlier, the last thing I wanted was something with dairy. This drink proved to be a perfect solution to quench the thirst and rather refreshing too! If only they went lighter on the ice. ◾Flat White RM12 - she just sat there quietly sipping her favourite coffee. We were there an hour before their closing time at 5pm, therefore had (almost) the entire premise for ourselves. If I were to be honest, price is on the high side - actually not exactly high but the quantity of the drinks were too little for me making me wonder if it worth the money paid. Foods are mainly bread-centric with toasties and open sandwich to choose from. Service crew are friendly with ever-smiling gave behind the mask

[Apr 2022] 1. Really had a good feeling when I came here 2. Literally next to the MRT station inside The Five 3. Quality chicken whilst being motivational 4. Really warm presence by staff and the environment It gave me the office cafe vibes when I approached the counter. The sunlight-esque glow from the logo really distinguishes the place. Was kinda tired that day but was calmed by very hospitable staff. They have cashback if you use the beep app. Ordered the chicken sando sandwich. Simple yet elegant menu. Really like it when cafes nail their dishes if they keep the menu small. The chicken was succulent. No regrets choosing chef’s recommendation. The corn nori slaw is very creative and blends well with the sandwich. An interesting japanese fusion combo. The environment is peaceful. It gives the minimalist vibes if you enjoy it, though concept of personal space was not the focus in the setup. It depends which table you get in a way. When you peer out of the video it puts you in a cafe where you can potentially do work or just chill in a Japanese/European setting. Price-wise, would say the portion was decent, partly the dish made me increase my appetite. I am a western foodie after all. Would recommend if possible this be reduced to RM25 considering they give such an uplifting and motivational paper beneath the sandwich. Genuinely impressed by the presentation which did not make the paper that soggy (good “workmanship” of placing the sauce in the sandwich). Benefit of the doubt is that this is at Semantan. Will come again for sure if I have money! Stay positive in mood and negative of Covid! Note: didn’t try their coffee

A minimalistic and simple coffee shop with a mobile furniture design made of basic processed plank wood. A fairly chill place hidden in the KPD building beside HELP foundation university. The staff are friendly, but as a place prizing itself as a coffee shop first and foremost, I expected much more from the recommended drink: a salted caramel latte. The taste was fairly basic, and I was left unimpressed with my takeaway drink. The cup portion was rather small too.

The espresso orange shot is super refreshing, its a wake up and get your day going must. Make sure to have their sandwiches, very good. Overall the food, good coffee and the ambience is a win. However, this is on the pricey side. I rate 4/5
