★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered tenderloin steak, sirloin steak and chamomile chicken. Tenderloin was very mouth watering, wheareas sirloin was a bit chewy. The chamomile chicken seemed uncooked as there's traces of blood, but the waiter explained in a patient and polite way that the chicken is actually in its resting phase. A bit pricey (RM150 for 220g tenderloin, rm 200 for 320g sirloin) but woth the price for great taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fire Pitz is a nice place, nicely decorated, with a cozy feel. Food presentation is very nice and vegetarian appetizers were excellent.
We did not care much though for
- chamomille chicken, which, strangely for a wood fire grill, is deep fried
- hendricks cocktail which is mixed with coffee

I ordered the lamb racks, they complemented perfectly by the delicious foie gras sauce. I shall return to try on other items on the menu.

First of all let me first start with the food
Mushroom soup was named 48 hours soup
But it’s just another normal mushroom soup
Gift on earth
Is a wonderful and most probably the best item in their menu
Make sure you don’t miss this
Absolute delicious and worth it
Squid game
Awesome and good paste and seasoning
However if they were to serve it after slicing it
Will be better as it’s not easy to cut
Beef pasta
No joke
This review suppose to be 4 stars instead
This dish makes it drop to 3
Rm48 for the SUPER NORMAL pasta with sorry to say SUPER NORMAL BEEF is really mind blogging

This is heaven
This is paradise
Fried chicken along with grilled chicken
I really have no idea how they made it so tender
Their sauce are great but the chicken are great by default
I finish the chicken without any sauce
It’s really good
this fish is by the price of gram
If not wrong about 40 per 100 g
Paid 140 for 390g appx
Taste wonderful but the price is on the high side
About rm400 for above items
Now speaking of staff and environment
Staff are passionate indeed
They know the item well
However due to the wildfire cooking place
You can see almost all the workers
Have sweat all over their face
Luckily the cooking smell are not all over the place
They are located above a shop lot first floor
Renovation are rather simple and plain
Food taste are good
Price at the high side
Best to come in big group so can order more dish

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a trend right now. Fully booked almost everyday and night. For those who wish to try out, please make sure to reserve. Food is good. Something different from usual western dishes. Price is a bit high but acceptable considering using firewood. A must try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To begin, one may find it a little hard to locate this place bcos Google Maps will lead you to a location two shop houses away. But if your eyes are sharp, you'll find it.
Now, on to the food and ambiance. The ambiance was fairly ordinary with simple tables and chairs setup. Air conditioning was under performing so considering that it's a "wood grill" place, it can get pretty warm.
Food wise, it was reasonable but not great. The burnt caesar and truffle fries we ordered as starters were excellent (probably the highlight of our dinner imho). But the steak (Black Angus Ribeye), which we had to choose from descriptions on a chalk board as specials of the day, and the fish (Mini Barrumundi) were on the dry side. Taste wise they were seasoned well but unfortunately even though we ordered 'medium' done-ness, the steak was dry and chewy. Perhaps this was a result of open fire grilling. I'm unsure cos this is the first time I'm trying. The grilled fish was slightly better but generally still on the dry side imo.
The cocktails we ordered were a little watered down (can't remember the name) and not cold so I didn't like it.
Overall, for the price which is on the high side, I rate this experience average. The starters saved the day for me!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their signature dish, Barramundi Bakar, the grilled fish is great, the fish is fed with lactose so the meat doesn't have any smell and the texture is great.
Also strong recommendation to order other dishes like gift from the earth l(grilled mushroom), burnt caesar salad. Their fries is good too.
Semi Freddo, something like the mixture of yogurt with ice cream with strawberry inside, good combination and tasty.
Better make a reservation before heading to this place due to limit amount of table available. The staff are friendly and kind, great service provided.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant really takes pride in serving good food. You can see in the way they prepare their dishes with attention and detail. Food is also served with minimal waiting time. After all the mediocre restaurants that are dime a dozen in JB, to find a gem of a restaurant like this makes me very happy!
