The food taste just so so, bean sause steam fish sauce is too thick, chinese spinach soup only have century egg, the spinach are not cook soft enough. The gong poh frog taste quite plain, only satisfied with the spring onion ginger stir fried deer meat....

Food is good. Price is fair. Only parking is a problem of the narrow road in front of the restaurant. Pork yam is the best in town.

Had lunch here. Ordered sweet and sour fried talipia, claypot taufu, vege and butter mantis prawn. Reasonal price and yummy food. Just that food reserved a bit long. CNY went again with pre booked set dinner. Ordered full chicken but came half bird.

First time visit tonight with friends who are regulars. I can see why! Food was absolutely delicious! Their signature tofu was incredible. Venison is another speciality on the menu and was extremely juicy and tender. For sure we will be coming back!

Good place for order to cook dinner. Prices are fixed and reasonable. It has aircond and non aircond hall. Dishes are delicious especially the lala ( bivalves) soup other than ginger, pepper and some thin slice carrot it has black fungus and goji berries ( keiji) in the soup. The steamed fish is nice too. We ordered 4 dishes. Steam fish cheong chen, bitter gourd omelette, sambal belacan kangkong ( water spinach) & lala soup with rice and a pot of Chinese tea for 2 pax. Hot water free adlib self service. Payment by cash or e-wallet. Price is very reasonable compare to Klang valley. This restaurant is situated on the next block after 66 food court Botani, Ipoh. Highly recommended if you want to eat "tai char" or dine in-cook to order dinner/lunch at Ipoh South, Botani area. Prices are fixed for small ,medium and large. To be able to speak a little Cantonese is of advantage as the menu are all written in Mandarin. If you are Yellow Banana like me, a picture on the menu is worth a thousand words and eating out experience in Klang Valley is added advantage. By the way to be a little literate in Alphabet and numerals do help in ordering, as I can read the RM16 for small, RM28 for medium etc. We always order the small plate to be able to taste more varieties. :-)
