The ingredients quality is normal. However the cooking skill is very very attractive. The char and caramelized flavor are filled of the dishes. If next time go this place, must give another shot to try again. Hopefully can get a 5 stars experience

Was there on for dinner on Sunday. It was so crowded. Weather was hot, sitting in the restaurant was hot as well with the additional heat from the kitchen. If you've toddler, try to choose another venue. The food was tasty. We ordered 6 dishes and 2 noodles. I've expectations for curry fish, cause most of the patrons ordered. It didn't disappoint me in term of taste but the fish less fresh. Indeed the yam with pork belly was good. The Cantonese fried noodle, has the 'wok hei'. Overall, the food to the price and portion was worth.

Usually will have a long wait time, 30 minutes typically. The operation is a bit different post covid as most customers would take out. It is highly recommended to call in advance to place your order and you will be given an estimated wait time. The take out process are quite refined by now. As for dine in, the tables are lesser compare to previous, but the same applies. As for taste of food, i would say there is a standard there but dont expect 5 star treatment as it is a typical local type coffee shop. Pricing is also acceptable. Overall it is a recommended place for local chinese dishes with acceptable pricing if air conditioning environment is not in the top of your list.

Located opposite the sungai nibong bus terminal, this old restaurant has operated more than 2 decades. The signature dishes are minced meat with French bean (炒乌龟豆), claypot tofu and curry fish meat. They also have fried rice and noodles for those who aren't looking for big meal. Price is reasonable, in fact consider cheap if compared with other eateries in town. Make sure you make reservation before coming here coz this restaurant is packed with people starting 6pm. Parking is limited. Service is moderately slow during peak hours... Waiting time of 30 to 45mins is normal. It's one of the best restaurant in the bayan lepas area. As for Covid precaution, it has cross ventilation (with no air cond) setting but table to table distance is very near to each other.

Foo Hiang Seafood is located inside Chia Yean Cafe. It offer chinese stir fry dishes. Overall the food is good and value for money. It will be a bit pack after 7pm. This is what we tried: 1) curry fish - not bad, very thick curry with asam taste 2) tofu with abalone and vege - their tofu is great, skin is perfectly fried and soft from the inside 3) stir fry vegetable - got wok hei and enough taste, i prefer those normal garlic stir fry 4) nestum mantis prawn - crunchy and salty but not enough margarine and sweetness to it 5) steam lala - not bad, similar to those thai style steam fish, sour and spicy and garlicky

Growing up, my family frequent this restaurant and now this is me and my bf go-to Chu Char place. Love their steamed fish, seaweed soup, sweet sour pork (gu lao rou), claypot (sapo) tofu, and mantis shrimp. This place is very popular and many people order ahead to pick up or dabao. Expect wait time of at least 30 minutes if you come before 7pm. Well worth the wait though.

Used to dine at this place before MCO in Malaysia, the food was delicious. Coming here again after ∼2 years really brought back some memories. It's usually crowded in the evening and have to park somewhere else and walk over. But the food is delicious so it's all worth it.
