If you are there early in the morning (from 7 am). Go for the Uncle serving porridge on the first floor. Dammed syiok! Wholesome comfort food! The meat paste is extremely flavourful because he has got secret pieces of crispy golden lard nuggets chopped up inside together with preserved veggies. The generous pork slices are super fresh & nicely marinated. Oh... you also have a choice of fish and pork innards too. The porridge itself has a smooth & creamy texture to it, making the ensemble à delightful symphony of taste. Porridge Uncle normally finishes by about 11am. He needs a good rest as he has been up since 3am! For lunch, look no further than Indian Girl Curry Laksa. Her stall is directy opposite Porridge Uncle. Nope i dont think she is even a bit Indian. She may be a bit dark tho, so you can easily spot her. Her curry laksa is legendary! Simple and old style. Only served with cockles, fried towfoo puff, bean sprout with a dollop of secret sambal. Note that there is nary a shred of meat. Served with ideal proportions of each ingredients, the whole concoction is far greater than the sum of its parts. This is one of the best curry laksa in KL/PJ. Only downside is the getting to this area. Parking is absolutely horrendous.....even if you manage to find one. I would park at Quill Mall and take the 15 minute walk. Oh theres loads of other foodie level stuff to try in the vicinity such as Durian Cendol, Bakso, Ayam Penyet etc

This was a small food court on the first floor of the building. There were Malay and Chinese food stalls. At 2.45 pm (Sat, 13/1/18), the famous “Indian Girl Curry Laksa Stall no. 09 was closing. Sam Cheong, a good blogger rated it 8/10 on 19 June 2014 (10 being the best). Other food stalls were also closed except for a few Malay stalls. Other Chinese food sold here mentioned by Sam includes Uncle Soo’s Char Koay Teow, Wantan Mee and Chee Cheong Fun. Indian Girl Curry Laksa Stall is open for breakfast and lunch and closed on Sundays and public holidays. There was an interesting shop selling antiques and old paraphernalia such as posters as well as herbs on the same floor.

Hidden gem in pasar raja bit. Its located 1 floor abive the wet market. Few stalls up there..can be a bit stuffy and hot. Tried the wantan mee..its fantastic. The other 1 worth trying will b the porridge stall. I preper the pork more than the fish porridge. The others will b laksa, hokkien mee n chu cheong fan. I saw ppl ordering food and sit at the coffe shop near the grou d floor, near the famous legengary chow kit nasi lemak stall..guess there are deliveries service too
