★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Starts from Komtar and ends at jetty (ferry to Butterworth). Air conditioned. Then starts again at jetty to Komtar in a slightly different direction. Both locals and tourists uses this service. Can be crowded at times. Can get free map from info booth on corner under Komtar. There’s a KTS office at jetty if you need to buy train tickets in Malaysia. We bought tickets to Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur from there. Cash and card. I think they close 11-12noon for lunch. We had no problems with the drivers. One even waited as we were running for the bus.
