The waiter surprised me with a margarita on the house. Great place for a date night. Cozy restaurant with lovely ambience.

Sure, service is attentive and good but food fare was hit and miss. We started with Porto Bello mushroom with salad which tasted on point but probably only had one piece of mushroom cut up into 4 chunks. Kids had spaghetti and breaded crumb chicken chop which satisfied them. Pork ribs was okay but a tad dry. Surf and turf looked alright when it arrived at the table - almost 15mins after the other mains. But funnily enough, the meals especially the meat and shoestring fries don't feel hot enough in general - just barely lukewarm. We also ordered both their desserts - only two to choose from, brownie cake with ice cream and tiramisu. Curiously, the tiramisu came in a plastic container on the plate. Oh they do have a live 2-person band, so conversation can be a tad challenging at times. Still worth a try if you're looking for Western meal for a change.

However, the space here is quite small. Better call up for a reservation if you intend to come in a large group. Parking here however is very limited especially during the weekend as it is situated next to Jonker walk.

The bar area is fabulous as a rendezvous point with your good friends when exploring the area. Interior looks like a throwback to the simpler colonial period with whitewashed walls and a rustic looking bar. Definitely a place worth revisiting whenever the chance presents. Excellent.
N	Nicholas Su on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited here just for the cocktails based on friend's recommendation. Bartender was extremely accommodating to our request. He is a maestro in mixing cocktails. We just asked for anything that had a strong kick but not too sweet, and we easily got at least 10 different concoctions that were not on the menu, each one better than the last. Staff were also very friendly and fun. A must try for cocktail lovers!
