★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This may be the most unheard of Unesco world heritage site in Malaysia. Very informative and I appreciate history and archeology of this region a lot more after this visit.
Above all, our pleasure to finally meet The Perak Man. Bagus!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great museum of our heritage! Perak man, the caves, the bronze age history, the archaeological explorations record and the collections are all very informative. May consider putting in more advanced digital technologies to privide more interactive experiences to the visitors especially the young school kids.

Kajah cave was open and unlocked today but unfortunately a lot of leeches in that area in this season.
Visited it 3 years ago:
It is very nice, new, located in beautiful quiet place. But quite far from Lenggong center (around 10km) and no public transport. Only people with vehicles can access it easy.
I am very sad that cave area is not open for visitors now and not maintenance well. It could be great to visit for every one to know and feel our history.
It is free of charge and operated hours 9am-5pm

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed. Come all the way here to view our nation's pride but it was closed for renovation. Hope the gallery will be opened soon. For reprieve, you can drive another 200m from the gallery to view some of the exhibits from temporarily housed in the USM archaeology centre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went on 4 Nov 2021. We were looking forward to visiting this museum.
Unfortunately, we were disappointed as it was closed for renovation.
The guard was not sure when the renovation will be completed nor the museum will be reopened to the public.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went three times to Perak and each time the Museum was closed. The employees are there, playing with their cell phones and the guards are in the entrance cabin but visitors are not allowed inside. Do not waste your time like we did. Across there is supposed to be the site where the meteorites hit the earth. There is a modern huge signage (one of the many for what they call "Geopark" - No idea what it really means) but no direction to go. Not impressive at all
