★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Up on this former centuries old Jail of Sorrow, we see a new shopping mall being created, gone is the past where thick walls and pricky barb wire and strong iron bars - the prison's outer skin which kept the errs and guilts from the outside world, being torn down and rejuvenate, had since called a recarnaissance of century - a mark of lesson and sad remembrance for the souls who spent their golden hours here, and also for their next generation today and so in the ever future centuries to come - The Gate of Pudu Jail remains....
Would the new generations reckon what is wrong and what is right? Would they choose a similar gate to enter in the event any need that be?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old main gate of the Pudu Prison remnants, currently standing in front of the newly built Lalaport Mitsui Shopping Mall, the gate seeable from the road or from the KL monorail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So sad the iconic and historic building has been demolished and given way for new development. Missed the wall painting that was painted by an inmate. That was a truly masterpiece but now it's gone forever. Now we are left with the main gate of Pudu Jail, hope this gate will be maintained in good condition and let the youngsters to dig the story of Pudu Jail and learn from it.
