★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 婆婆跌倒骨折入住，被安排和病重患者3人同房，空气非常糟糕，要求换房也不受理。之前说什么需要隔离3天，其实就是把她放在工作人员休息的角落。谁都可以自由进出，什么 SOP 也没有。4 天后我们就不能忍受了，要求出院竟然被征收半个月的收费大约3千块马币。真是疗养院中的黑店。
 The mother-in-law fell and fractured and moved in. She was arranged to share the same room with three seriously ill patients. The air was very bad and the request for a room change was not accepted. I said before that I needed to be quarantined for 3 days, but in fact it was to put her in the corner of the staff. Anyone can go in and out freely, and there is no SOP. After 4 days, we couldn't bear it anymore, and for asking to be discharged from the hospital, a fee of about 3,000 MYR for half a month was levied. It's really a black shop in a nursing home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mum and dad are in their mid-90s and they have been at Genesis for 4 months. It offers them some freedom to do what they want with a lot of assistance. They have a big room all to themselves and they like the noodles cooked here as well, thanks to the chefs. All the staff here is well trained and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The medical personnel and care staff at Genesis Life Centre did so much for my 80 year old dad when he was a resident there. From being bed ridden and totally dependent, they nursed and rehabilitated and cared for him until he is able to take care of himself. All these in just a few months. He started driving again 2 months after discharged from Genesis centre.
A far cry from the start of his touch-or-go health crisis where he was resuscitated, put in a medically induced coma, intubated, septicaemia, X-ray done frequently on his lungs, especially the collapsed lung, dialysis every other day. All these while warded in the ICU for 2 weeks and consequently in the CCU for another 2 weeks in Hospital Sungai Buloh.
So yes, Genesis Life Centre not only nursed him back to health, physically and mentally, they also brought back my dad’s quality of life. We are eternally thankful to all, and especially Dr Sue at Genesis Life Centre.

Upon discharge from Sungai Buloh Hospital..
on 12th February 2021..i was admitted into Genesis Care to undergo my quarantine
The office put me in Room 610.
I was unable to walk to the lift. so they wheeled me into the room..
I was unable to eat solid food because of my blistered tongue and throat..
I requested Kitchen to prepare blended food.. so that i am able to consume and build up my strength.
Never expected it so heavenly..
Fast forward i was transfered to room 408 then 404.
There were some small problems which was settled promptly
One positive point that i can mention in this write up..
The Staff and caregiver are ever willing to assist.. Should we have any problems.. We can approach any of them..
Genesis Care have been in operation for the past 3 years and have an average occupancy of 70 per cent.
They have 4 floors with 20 rooms a floor..
Every floor is headed by an experienced medical assistant with a wide pharmaceutical knowledge.
PFeed tubes.. They are fed every 4 hours..
Genesis Care Klang is in Amverton Building
Jalan Istana.
Very Comfortable Lounge area..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were previously told to brace ourselves for the inevitable as Amma was going downhill. However, within one week of Amma’s stay here at Genesis, we are thrilled with the 180-degree change in her. She is alert, vibrant, more interactive, coherent in speech and with improved appetite. Previously Amma was completely bed bound, but now she is excited to participate in the recreational activities organized. We accrue this to the comprehensive and wholistic approach to Amma’s management. We are indeed indebted to Dr Sue for personally accompanying Amma during her transport to Genesis as well as personally taking charge of the treatment plan. Her sincere dedication and lovable personality is evident in how quickly Amma has bonded with her. The nursing and management staff too are hardworking and very friendly. Amma’s room is big airy, spacious, and very clean that she feels she is at home. It is definitely the best decision we have made to choose Genesis Life Care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mom is in her 80s. Life took an unexpected turn when she's diagnosed with heart conditions and severe pneumonia. She had her pacemaker implanted and undergone tracheostomy procedure and has to be intubated. She's under ICU care for weeks.
When she finally fought off pneumonia, she became dependent on the ventilator. Nobody knows how long she needs to completely wean off and continue staying in ICU is not an option, financially.
Luckily upon contacting Genesis, they took mom in and started a plan to help her to wean off ventilator dependency. As mom was bedridden and intubated for weeks in the ICU, physio sessions were also arranged at Genesis to help mom regain her strength to walk again.
After 4 months in Genesis, mom's trachy tube is removed and successfully weaned off. She's able to breath on room air on her own (i.e. SpO2 reads at 96-98, no oxygen tank, no ventilator and no oxygen concentrator needed at all). She no longer need tube feeding and can eat on her own effort. She can now walk on her own.
We're truly glad that mom is recovered now.
Special thanks to Dr.Lyndon and Dr.Sue for taking us in and taking care of mom's recovery plan. Our appreciations to physiotherapists Cindy and Jason for their patience and efforts in helping mom to regain her strength to stand and walk again. Also our gratitude to the management, nurses, caregivers and staff in their daily care of my mom. To name a few here: Angeline, Azrai, Johari, Hanif, Mega, Ekin, Privina, Asilah and a few more who we didn't get their names, but are equally appreciated and grateful.
A job well done and our heartfelt thanks to all of you.
