My mum has a horror experience doing a tooth extraction. In pain for more than a week. She described as the Worst Dentist she ever met

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The entire shop was empty. However counter staff said I should have called for appointment as it was 15 mins to dentist's lunch time and refused to help my child. Lack empathy to their customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't have a gripe about the service, but rather their attitude to patients. I used to go to this dentist years ago and booked in again for a scale and polish. The receptionist advised that it would "hundred and above."
When I attended, the dentist said he'd do a check up of my teeth and I assumed that was standard procedure. He then charged me for that check up, saying it was a consultation. I said that if wasn't fair for me to be charged for something that I didn't ask for. He said it was up to the patient to ask for the cost before doing the procedure - I think it's up too the dentist to advise of the cost, rather than adding charges to the bill after the fact. I paid RM170 for a "consultation" and a scale and polish, which is very much on the expensive side for this part of town.
