โ โ โ โ โ Georgetown Sake Bar, is a cosy corner at Museum Hotel Penang.
Beautiful decor, good selection of drinks with finger food.
Certainly a lovely place to meet friends, couples to have a date, and
suitable for a short business meeting too.Staff very friendly and always wears a smile. I will invite more friends to join in future!

โ โ โ โ โ Georgetown Sake bar.
It was a great place to relax and drink with family, friends and colleagues. It has a nice retro ambiance to the place with some nice music.
Tried their premium sake with some side dish and it was simply awesome. The Sangria that they serve was simply delicious. I will definitely be visiting again very soon.

โ โ โ โ โ This is the 3rd time coming over to Georgetown Sake bar. I was really amazed and impressed by the new look of the place and their new dishes. Had some Buffalo chicken wings with their blue cheese dip, Beef Nachos, Edamame green Japanese peas and their mix nuts with some pretty delicious drinks. I really love their Sangria and the premium Saito Junmai sake. it really matches with strong taste dishes because of the fruity aroma.
I highly recommend this place if you would like to chill, relax and immerse yourself in this rich cultural historical place. You should visit this place in the evening, looks very beautiful with all the light on.

โ โ โ โ โ Dear food lover,
If you are the type of person who likes trying new dishes. Well this is for you!
There is a place in Penang, Georgetown called โSake Barโ in Museum Hotel which serves Japanese authentic food. The dish that I tried is called Oden โ Nagoya Miso Flavour, itโs basically a one pot dish consist of Konnyaku (Chewy Potato) which surprises me because it tasted good and it is really chewy for a potato. There was a hard-boiled egg in it too. One of the dishes inside was called A-GE (sort of like a deep fried tofu skin with gluten rice on the inside) that gives the dish a sweet taste when you eat it. Moreover, there was two cheesy fishballs which for me tasted absolutely amazing when it is combined with the other dishes plus with broth, the fishballs added in the cheesiness flavour within it making it very special. And lastly, there was this white radish that taste a bit bland which you have to sip the miso broth while eating it, this help to enrich the flavour. On the side note, the dish is given with yuzu pepper which you have to eat it together with every bite of the dish. It gives out sourish taste and spicy flavour. You also can add in the chilli pepper for extra touch of spicyness. A pretty good first time experience for me, to be honest. Well folks, what are you waiting for? Go try it yourself, Till next time.
