Crispy, juicy chicken rice. Recommended. The food is a journey for you to take the path, but do come before lunchtime as the parking wouldn't be so much there.

saw the viral video and had to try their nasi ayam on my own! chicken was crispy and moist, stir fry bean sprout was okay, the sambal was a bit spicy and tangy, their rice is fragrant and a lot located inside the food court near HKL. i was there during weekdays for lunch and surprisingly theres not a big crowd at that peak hours. no parking space provided other than by the roadside

Honestly, for any foodies, this would have to be a must visit. The chicken is definitely crispy. It's got a different crunch to it. The layer of the crispy chicken is definitely very different to say a KFC fried chicken. It went well with the chili sauce too. It adds a good 'kick' as well, the chili. The S1 golden sesame chicken (small) is a set that includes the dish of crispy chicken, rice, a bowl of soup, and chili sauce as a condiment. This set is RM10 as of May 2022. Even the small one was filling enough for me. But for the bigger eaters, they can opt for S2 instead for RM18. This hawker stall is nestled inside. There are other hawker stalls there too for the locals. It isnt a touristy spot right now. When I came here, I could see everyone else is a local. I would be the only non-local in dining there. So if you want something very local, and also cheap, somewhat adventurous, and something nice to eat, then this is a must visit. Obviously you'd either have to walk here from the city centre or catch some transportation such as ride services. I actually took the Hop On Hop Off bus shuttle on the blue line and walked from the nearest stop. It's about a 5 minute walk from the bus stop of the Hop On Hop Off blue line.

A popular lunch spot among the HKL staff and locals alike. This stall specializes in one thing and one thing only - fried chicken. Specifically, sesame Horlicks fried chicken for yearssssss. Chicken comes ala carte or w rice set. The questionable hygiene of this stall's food court, priciness and difficult parking don't seem to be a crowd deterrent. Though rather tasty w the appetizing chili sauce and soy sauce, I'm good for just a revisit this time around, about ten years later.

The stall is stuck at one corner and need to look for it carefully because I actually miss the stall when I went in the place. It’s all malay stalls around the place. The sesame chicken is quite unique flavour and does not have a very strong sesame taste. It’s crispy but don’t have the Horlick taste

After watching the old viral foodie video and re-viral again recently, always had the urge to try whenever I am happen to be near HKL, today take the time to find the stall and try the fried chicken... The crispyness was superb, just the meat wasn't tender and juicy enough for me (perhaps it's not piping hot, will give it a try again for piping hot chicken). The taste like some said, basically doesn't taste like have any horlick taste. About the chili sauce, was good but not tempting enough for me. The only surprise for me is RM 15 for a piece of whole leg is quite expensive for stalls inside Medan Selera.

Another famous joint for nasi ayam lovers in the city of Kuala Lumpur. Located beside Hospital Kuala Lumpur, in a hawker centre. There are many stalls around here with a full range of local daily Malaysian food. This KEDAI AH KOW are among the popular stalls here, offering extremely crispy fried chick that goes superbly well with their nasi ayam. The way the batter is being formulated to maintain that crispiness is what brings back customers for more of this dish. They have stopped selling noodles for now (Covid Era) and their nasi ayam sells out quite fast. The chilli for the nasi ayam is well spiced with tangy chillies and a good hint of ginger in it as well. Reasonably priced, portion is a nice and they accept e- wallet payment. Just place ur order and look for a seat, food will be at your table. Just be patience. Parking is the biggest oain around this area.

No taste of horlicks in the chicken. Fried chicken is crispy but a bit dry. Gotta have it hot or fresh from the hot oil, maybe ? Chicken rice (rice only) is so-so. Taugeh is fine. Overall, the food is fine however there was too much hype on it that it was a bit disappointing for me. Spent RM57 (around RM15/person) on: Chicken leg - 1 Chicken rice (whole leg) - 1 Chicken rice set (2 pcs chicken) - 1 Extra rice - 1 Taugeh (small) - 1
