I'm writing this review because people who go for the "glamping" experience there needs to know a few facts of that place, for their own safety and enjoyment. On the first day of our stay, a few members of our group decided to go tubing, while the rest stayed back by the bank to enjoy some drinks and relax. The river has a steady current, and within minutes the 3 tubers were carried downstream out of sight. So for the rest of us that decided to stay back, it around half an hour for us to realise that the tubers had to eventually walk upstream back to camp, and that they probably haven't thought of that part yet, in their enthusiasm. We hastily organised a rescue party (consisting of me and a phone) with the rest of the group trying to contact the tubers on the phone. The idea is for me to meet them, and then walk upstream together back to camp. After close to an hour of swimming/hiking downstream in the knee-height river, I finally linked up with the tubers. After a short walk upstream we decided to toss away the tubes as they were too much encumbrance. 10 minutes into our hike back, it started drizzling, and the currents grew stronger. It's at this point that we realised we're in danger. We had to make a decision on whether to press on against stronger currents, or wait and risk spending the night in total darkness in the jungle. We were in contact with the rest of the party in the camp, and there was general confusion as to what we should do. Eventually we decided our best bet at survival would be to make it to camp by whatever means necessary. It was a gruelling trek, but fortunately the rain stopped and the currents subsided. When we got back to camp an hour later, the rest of the group were visibly agitated. Apparently two things happened: (1) we, as guests from the city, had to call all the shots of the rescue operation; and (2), after a short argument between our friends and the hosts, they mentioned that they will not be liable if something bad happened. Imagine being exhausted and shaken from this ordeal, only to hear these things. Now let's be clear: the hosts did attempt to organise a rescue by driving into the jungles to see if there's a way to meet us by the bank. It was just a bad plan. As this is not the first time this happened, we would have assumed that they would at least have an SOP of some kind. Nada. At this point, emotions were running high. Guess what, instead of de-escalating the situation, the hosts decided to double down on their position and insist that they had done their best and that we were the unreasonable ones. We as a guests ended up having to be the ones to de-escalate the situation. Who's the one who chose to be in the hospitality business again? To be clear, we only have 2 demands: (1) for them to admit that they did not provide clear enough briefing to the safety parameters of the river (for the benefit of future campers); and (2) to apologise for the badly timed statement about liability. We can meet them halfway. Nope. No apologies of any kind. In fact, if you look at their instagram page, you'll notice that they posted passive aggressive updates about "having common sense in the jungles" and "rivers don't loop around". That's the kind of people you'll be dealing with. The kind where they're all smiles when things are right, and blames you for everything if something goes wrong. In the end, the only concession we got was the waiver of the fees owed, but it was done under the context of "getting rid of us". I believe the hosts are honest folks, but are unprepared to run a glamping site. They are also under-equipped to handle emergencies, and aren't trained in hospitality either. If they can accuse us of lacking common sense in nature, then we can say they lack common sense in hospitality as well. I would not go back there any time soon, as I don't see the hosts taking any steps to make it a safer experience for their guests. Not to mention their attitude when things go wrong.

Such a nice place to camp. You can opted for a camp ground under a nice shades, or can choose the chalet which nicely built. Fresh air, cold river and sound of nature adding up the excitement to be away from urbanisation. At night you can enjoy watching million of stars if the sky is clear. Expect a very cold and misty morning and have a walkaround to view the whole place. Another great things, the host is super friendly and rwally nice to chat with their whole family.

I went there with my group of friends for 3 days and it was worth it! The accomadations were in wonderful condition. The food they served was amazing and filling. They gave us warnings and were very brief about the river tubing. The staff there are honest and sweet people. Would recommend to go there for an enjoyable time

This place has options of glamping and camping. Entrance road towards the site quite challenging and has no signage. River water is not clear, but can play tubing. Toilet is clean and well maintained.

Good place to experience nature and has option for Chalets and to put your own tents. Little away from main road and have to take dirt road so be careful during rain driving on that road if not experienced. Nice host and they gave personal touch to hospitality.

If you come here to try car camping or camping this is a very good place for you, the campground is clean. I personally feel that the river not suitable for a swim during the rainy season, because is dangerous. However, if you come here to experience glamping or chalet I think the price that you paid and what you get is not tally. :(

We didn't stay this time around. Came for a visit because for a recce. The owners were extremely warm and accommodating. Definitely hold a very high standard to ensure that the place is of top notch quality for their visitors. Not only that, we were treated to a sumptuous lunch, ended with a very nice cup of local coffee and a perfect banana cake with cream cheese cream topping! Definitely will bring the family back!

A campsite near the river, well maintain and the toilet / shower room are pretty clean. RM50 per head, not a very cheap site but the environment is good. The route to the campsite is a bit rough so donโ€™t drive your expensive car else you will regret. Kid friendly, can play a the river if the parent doesnโ€™t mind the yellow colour water.
