★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family’s go to place for Penang Hokkien Prawn Mee, Wonton Mee (the famous Maria Sui Kow Wonton Mee) and Nyonya style Mee Goreng (full of crushed peanut powder).
The Hokkien Mee is unique because of the thick broth made from boiling down pig bones and prawn shells. Tasty even without adding chili - that is more than what I can say for many “more famous” hokkien mee stalls in Penang.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maria's wan tan mee...noodles still springy texture, wantan though shrank in size but still full of meat...still one of the best in Penang.
Whereas #oldschool bowl of hokkien mee which is arguably much better than Greenhouse's one... recommended by colleague.
Next time need to try the mee rebus again....another awesome hawker dish there
