★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is ok,price is reasonable. Ordered some dishes they claimed as "signature" upon recommendation, but could not see the "signaturity", example "kangkung in hotpot", literally was just normal fried kangkung put in hot pot? but price is more expensive thsn normal kangkung.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Busy restaurant serving good selection of fish and others, you can choose the fish and size before order. Expect long waiting time during peak but the service is good and friendly, foods are above average and reasonably priced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are friendly and efficient. I prefer to come here for early dinner as it will usually be crowded during dinner time. So, better to make reservations if you intend to come at 8pm. Tasty food and clean restaurant. Strongly recommended.

My family and I had dinner here. We had reservation so we sat upstairs (7pm). At first we felt weird because two of our neighboring tables had their steamed fishes served after they had long finished their rice.
We ordered 5 dishes. First 3 dishes came after I went down to rush the kitchen after waiting for one and a half hours (8.30pm). As we were hungry from the long wait, we finished our 3 dishes and rice in 15 mins. The other 2 dishes still haven't come. So I went down to rush kitchen again. Then curry fish came (8.50pm) and we ate without rice. After 10 mins the waiter came and told us our last dish (fried green vegetable) is sold out.
And for the whole of upstairs, there is only one waiter. All the other tables were uncleared. Very unsystematic and very unpleasant dining experience. Will not come back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another great Chinese restaurant in Bukit Mertajam to bring your friends, say from outstation to boast the local cuisine? Lol.
Tuck away at a corner among a few other good restaurants, this long standing establishment is easy to locate, has ample parking space and crowded at meal times especially weekends.
A must try is their signature bitter gourd eggs that’s whipped to perfection, soft, runny, and lightly seasoned highlighting the bitter sweet gourds within.
Another popular option is the curry prawns that comes with ManTou buns. Overall all the dishes are simply delicious. Moderately priced.
